Need help with Toon creation pls

Hey, just wondering if theres a list somewhere of all the accented letters and there "codes" somewhere, im sure its on the site once or twice but as theres no search function i can find can i get a link to it pls.

I don't recall seeing it, but maybe some of the older members will. However - let me warn you that those accented characters make it notoriously difficult to whisper / invite / communicate with a player. They're fairly annoying :grin:

aswell i believe they are against the ToU and blizzard may force you to change the name at some point.

I'd be willing to bet that there's also an uncanny high ratio of people with special characters in their names- and my ignore list. Coincidence? I think not.

please dont use those letters to name your toon, it just makes things hard to communticate.

Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>char map...

But dont use them... Its annoying when you have to ask someone how to spell their name to add them to party or friend or guild... ANNOYING...

One kid I was going to add to our guild, I just told him to forget it because I couldn't spell his name..

I had to change my character's name because I had é in the name.

if you -ever- request aid from a gm with a character name with funky chars, then you will be asked to get a new name... also, you can get reported and forced to changed it.
