being well slept from not staying up too late the previous night... seriously, I enjoy the game when I'm well rested; so if I get on a kick of staying up too late playing the game, or anything else, it self corrects.... and I get my sleep (and rest state for my toon).

Researching stuff at work.

Prior to me reaching 70, each day at work I would look up all the quests I had, all the follow-up quests, then plot the best path for me to take to get the max xp/hr. It was amazingly helpful and really got me interested in seeing how well my plans would actually work out. As it turns out...

The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry

fits well.. Whether it be too many players killing my quest mobs, or alliance all around, or whatever.

Aye... although this is one of the few WoW related sites I can get to at work... you have no idea how much effort it takes not to spam this place with a 1000 more questions that I do.

Between here and using Google site searches and 'view cached' I learn what I can.

Initially, it was just the idea of killing and mayhem...ahhhh, mayhem. But now I just look forward to getting to the next level, that I pretty much want to play all the time.

Right now it feels as if breathing puts me in the mood for WoW. But, that could only be because my taxes are due in 47 days and I have no desire to do them.

They are! I know you guys in the US have it worse than we do (Incremental brackets FTW!) but seriously, lopping 39% (~) off my salary and 33% off my business income is just painful. And then 12.5% off every purchase, etc. etc.

I lose about 10% to Federal, 8% to State, then after everything else is deducted, I lose a total of 40%. I started dumping a huge percentage into my 401k just so THAT doesn't get taxed.

For all those living on welfare yet are playing WoW, thanks a ton. Screw over the workin man!

we actually lose more than that, look all the taxes you pay when you buy goods and services. EVERYTHING, I think we actually get like 30% of our total money earned lol, what a crime, the govt. is basically the mafia lol

lol... I just got that sick feeling in my stomach... tax... I knew it was coming though....

Our house is close enough to paid for that I'm back to the standard deduction again.... time to take out a bigger loan to pay more interest so I pay less tax.... that's just not right...

Here I was, all set to throw out my quiet little agreement of how reading this site all day and a little research here and there through the day gets me in the mood to hack and slash all night, but you guys had to go and mention taxes.

It's not so bad this year. I (and a few co-workers) just finished preparing many thousands of tax forms related to people's retirement disbursements, and got those mailed out last week. Filing my taxes won't be nearly as painful this year, as there shouldn't be a giant balance to pay off when the paperwork's over.

I think I have discovered that, in some ways, WOW is like sex. Nothing much is really needed to put me in the mood. I'm pretty much thinking about it all the time, and will gladly engage with little hesitation... with the right character.

Cheers!
