Need some good quests

Hey guys. Lately I've had a huge shortage of quests and could really use some for leveling. I'm a level 40 dwarf hunter and for the past few levels the experience I've gotten has all mostly come from instances. I've done most all of the quests I've had from Arathi and Hillsbrad. If anyone knows some good quest spots please share.

Have you been to Badlands? Lots of stuff to do there. Feralas is another good one. Desolace if you haven't done that.

Once you hit about 43 or so, gather all the Zul' Farrak quests and put a group together. An hour and half of an instance, and you'll net a huge amount of XP (and your carrot on the stick!)

Regarding the "Carrot on a Stick", make sure you go to The Hinterlands & get the Sacred Hammer first. I didn't know about it til I got into Zul'Farrak, so basically I had to do it twice. Not good with a PuG. To get it do the following:

1. Go to Hinterlands and kill Qiaga the Keeper at Altar of Zul for the Sacred Mallet.
2. Go to Jintha'Alor (also in Hinterlands) and climb to the top. Follow the paved trail and take any stairs up that you find. Once you hit the top floor go to the left and follow the trail to the amphitheatre. There is an altar there with a quest guy flopped on it. You don't even have to kill the named priestess that is in the ampitheatre because she paths inside a cave there... So just wait for her to leave and run up to the alter and right click your Sacred Mallet, and you will receive the Mallet of Zul'Farrak.

Then you are ready to go to ZF & get your carrot.

Where exactley is zul farrek, i am 44 and question in badlands (uldaman) have two zul farrek quests though!

Zul'Farrak is in Tanaris.

You get there like this:

- Go to Theramore Isle
- mount up and run north through Duskwallow Marsh, follow the road (it will bend south eventually) untill you can take the turn to The Barrens.
- In the Barrens take the Gold Road south untill you reach The Great Lift
- Get past the two Tauren guards (they shouldn't give too much of trouble)
- Take the lift down into Thousand Needles
- You may wanna go West first and take the flight point on the border of Thousand Needles and Feralas
- Go east untill you reach The Shimmering Flats (part of Thousand Needles)
- In the center there is a race track, find the questgiver for the quest Gahz'rilla (this gives you your Carrot on a Stick when completed)
- Then go south into Tanaris, Gadgetzan is right at the entrance of the zone (very close anyway)
- Gadgetzan is a decent sized town like Booty Bay (AH, inn, mailbox, ...). Lots of quests there too.

Zul'Farrak is found in the north-west of Tanaris. Only a couple trolls guard the entrance and there is a nice 'safe' resting/gathering area right in front of the instance along w a meeting stone.

To summon the 'big boss' Gahz'rilla (ghaz for friends and adventurers eager to kill him) inside ZF one person in the group needs a Mallet of Zul'Farrak.

To get the Hammer you need to go to The Hinterlands. That's somewhere north of Arathi Highlands:
- fly to Arathi Highlands, Refuge Point
- run north towards Hillsbrad Foothills
- keep running till you can take a turn towards Durnholde Keep. The keep itself is hostile, but when you go AROUND it you'll find a mountain pass towards The Hinterlands. There you arrive in Aerie Peak (get the Flightpath).
- Somewhere in the center of the zone is the Altar of Zul.
- Gather up some sturdy men and women and kill Qiaga the Keeper on top of the Altar. She'll drop a Sacred Hammer.
- Then go South-East and find the troll city of Jintha'Alor. if your group is good you'll eventually get to the top of the city at an altar where some troll is lying there being hurt.
- Ignore the troll, stand close to the altar, and activate the Sacred Hammer. it will turn into a Mallet of Zul'Farrak.

Then when you have the mallet you can smash some gong in ZF and ghaz will spawn and proceed to inflict pain upon you and your fellow party-members.

WARNING: The mallet quest is HARD
I did it at L44 because we had a L60 Tier2 warrior who was bored (was pre-BC). Also I was playing late at night and couldn't find a group for ZF itself. I pulled so much aggro I stayed in Bear Form just so I'd survive longer :)

ZF in itself is a very hard but fun instance. The first time you do the pyramid event you'll know what i'm talking about.
