After I hit 70 I still had both Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley to visit and quest there. I have done as many quests as possible in all the other areas, gaining about 1-2 levels in each. But compared to the last 2, they feel tiny.

It seems like Netherstorm and Shadowmoon are bigger in reality than the maps make it look. Every nook and crany seems to have a questgiver, every eco-dome is like an extra area with quests. After 4 days I feel like I hardly got past the first 2 chunks of Netherstorm (2 Manaforges and the Undead Village).

...and then there are all the dungeons ofc....

I really enjoyed these zones as well. I feel that the only downfall is the sheer number of 5 man group quest. I don't mind group quest that only need 3 or so people but sitting around looking for a tank and healer to finish a quest seems silly to me. Granted, the rewards are great for these quest.

I currently do not have a single solo quest in my log and have 12 or so group quests in these two zones. I'm sure there are a few solo quests out there that I missed but I believe I hit all of the major quest hubs and storylines in both zones.

Thankfully I was able to complete enough quests after 70 to make plenty of gold for my epic flyer!

I think thats the intention right there. Complete every quest over the course of a week or so, and wallah! You get your epic flying mount. Considering most quests are right on top of one another, you can easily make 100 gold in about an hour of grinding/quest turn ins. I had more than enough gold to get my epic once I dinged 70 (last night woot!) and after a few hours of grinding out quests, I am already back up to about 800g.

I have still not been to netherstorm, except to visit arcatraz to get the 3 part of the kharazan key. Now to get past the 11% last boss wipe in BM.

I still have a few group quests left in shadowmoon so i want to finish those before netherstorm. Been doing it for about a week now, what with instance runs and starting the various key chains. Still it is all supposed to last us a year.

Sooo many quests... very nice. =D

Same here, I couldn't have been anymore than 1/3 through the Netherstorm quests when I dinged 70 yesterday and I've only been to Shadowmoon for my tailoring quest.

As much as I want the epic flying mount I'm taking a few days break from questing and enjoying my regular flying (albeit slow) mount :)

I havent even been to shadowmoon yet except to get my mount. Im stuck in netherstorm. With me grinding consortium and scryer rep, i have been unable to leave. I tried to clear my quest log last night but it seems with every 2 quests i complete i get 3 in return. and yes my gold went up dramatically without really doing anything except questing.

I'm 70 and saving Netherstorm until I do enough manatombs runs to hit honored with the consortium. The NS quests will give me rep no matter when I do them.

SMV is fun... I kinda like the group quests. I do have to say that some of them are a overly hard for 5 people. The alter of damnation quest which ends up with you fighting sickly green golemag is actually hard to do with 5. It took me 6 to actually do it and it was close.

The quest rewards from the 5man quests in SMV are damn good. The alter of damnation quest gave me a staff with nearly 200 +healing on it. Another one I'm gonna do is gonna give me a staff with 330 feral attack power... better than I can get in most of the 70man instances on non-heroic mode (the quest is the one with the book of fel names).

If you guys care about rep with the different factions, I'd save netherstorm until after a few more manatombs runs (they give like 2000 rep a run till honored). Save your aldor/scryer quests in SMV until honored as well. The low level marks/signets will get you there.

At level 70 I farmed Firewing point in Takkar for about 3 hours over a few sessions and made my way to honored. They drop often and level 63-65 mobs aren't that hard. Save your higher level signents/marks and tombs/armaments until honored. Then do your SMV quests. The one I mentioned above gives 1000 rep for the final step.

I think blizzard tuned each areas xp perfectly, every zone i went two i gained almost exactly two levels by the time i completed it, leaving shadowmoon and half of netherstrom when i hit 70 for some XP>gold conversion.

One thing I did missout on however, i levelled almost entirely solo, doing each instance once when i was the right level for it and had an appropiate quest, guildmates however levelled exclusivley by grinding dungeons, by the time they hit 70 they were already revered with every faction and able to get the heroic keys, I still have a fair few runs of instances to farm the rep to get heroic keys to look forward to.
