I was wondering if anyone has ever tried any of the 'legal high' alternatives to marijuana that are available on the internet. I myself have been to some of the sites regarding them, but i'm quite skeptical because it seems to good to be true. So basically does anyone have any information pertaining to them, weither they are actually legal(from a canadian/american standpoint), and weither its a decent product for smoking(not so much for the buzz associated with, but the actual smoking part). As i enjoy the act of smoking(yes i smoke cigarettes), as well as shisha(sp?) from a hookah is quite relaxing, and wondering if such products are worth the money to try. Sorry for the lack of links for people going wtf ???, but most of the sites have adds im not sure would be tolerated by the management, so google will have to be your friends. Thanks to anyone that can throw some experiences this guys way.

I'm simply asking if the products are enjoyable for the way the smoke, not the effects the bring about, if i want a buzz i can go to a liqour store. I'm merely searching for smoking alternatives to tobacco, and wondering if any of these so called "legal highs" or "legal buds" meet that expectation. Thanks for your input.

I don't want to see these turned into a search for a new buzz thread. Nor to have comments thrown around about drug addicitions and their ramifications, i would assume very few people on this forum actually have a background in that. (as much as its a very 'fun' conversation ><). While the thread title is misleading, that is what the product is referred to, as well as making it researchable for anyone with said interest(i'm no king of google ><)
they all suck... and they're not the right answer. the practical solution is to just make weed legal. seriously, how many ppl die every year from smoking and drinking? and how many ppl die from smoking weed?

I doubt this is what you are referring to...but...
Bidi's. Back in high school, we used to smoke these all the time. They basically look like a joint, but are cloved cigarrettes. They come in all different flavors, ranging from vanilla to berry to mint. We smoked them solely for a long time becuase they were the only thing that would stay lit (and not spray ashes in our face) when we would go snowboarding.
Here's a little snippet from a website I found:
"Bidis (pronounced bee-dees) are small hand-rolled cigarettes manufactured in India and other southeast Asian countries. They are exported to as many as 122 countries, according to one bidi manufacturer. Bidi cigarettes are made of tobacco wrapped in tendu or temburni leaf (Diospyros melanxylon). The bidi is typically tied on one or both ends with a colorful string. Bidis are produced in a wide variety of flavors including:
chocolate
mango
vanilla
lemon-lime
mint
pineapple
cherry..."
These are much worse for your health if you inhale. They don't have a filter and they hit pretty darn hard. But the smell and taste of these are incredible.
I am a huge cigar fan. Multiple humidors with cigars ranging in price from $2-$80. If you like the Bidi's, but don't want to kill yourself, look into cigars. They compliment any meal or occasion. And they are little bit "old school" which I enjoy.

Read that second one...he goes into the history behind them
And my two favorite cigar sites:

Cigar Aficionado has a monthly magazine as well. Even if you aren't interested in cigars, the articles are simply amazing.
