In my life I run into few RP guilds some good some not...
I want to make one on my own and I would be honored to have some opinions or/and words how you run yours...

This is what I would do:
1. Knights system - every new member gets his mentor to teach him the ways of the guild...
2. Our own style of dresing in the city (diferent for every class)
3. Tasks for new members and old ones to gain a highier rank
4. Guild chat RP but also another chat that will be OCC
5. Guild meetings that arent interfearing with lvl, farming etc...

But at this point I ran out of ideas, help me to make a good guild...

well sounds very good! coming from a former guild leader i have some advise though

on 2. if you plan on having a decent size of members the clothing may begin to become expensive when you get new members, i would suggest having a guild bank or somtheing to that effect where people could donate to the guild, but maybe make it interesting somehow by giving people that donate something special, or letting them be donator of the month, dont know, could be creative.

and on #5 how leniant will you be for the meetings, very strict(have to make every meetings and if cant tell why), very free(come if you want, but dont expect to be in very high standing if you miss) or maybe somewhere in between?

hope my little two cents help make your guild legendary

it's only been posted a day, give people some time

1. Looks good, I like the look of the mentor system if you can get dedicated people to help you.

2. As mentioned, might be tricky or expensive; start small, find a tailoring character that you trust and perhaps get people to donate materials? that way you would cut down on the expense and difficulty.

3. Love it, even if its just guidelines like; make an effort to be sociable in guild chat. It gives people something to aim for, and of course its just plain fun

4. & 5. As far as guild meetings are concerned, take a look at this add-on called group calander;

http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/files/details/1958/groupcalendar/

My guild currently uses it to organise instances/raids in game, and assuming everyone uses it then it works great, and it should be easy for you to get people using it if you're starting your own guild  the same going for the extra chat channel for ooc.

One thing I would add is make sure you decide at the beginning how serious a RP guild you want to be, and how you're going to deal with people who don't take it as seriously as you might like. It solves a lot of problems to have this figured out from the start, trust me!

Hope some of that helped, and good luck!
