hi guys, my ench lvl is approx 180 and it got that way from guildies' kindness when it came to green items.

now, i've been enchanting stuff for guildies for free, but the climb to 300 is a nasty one on the budget.

could anyone give me tips on how i could make some cash? should i ask in the trade channel if anyone needs me? or should i sell specific items? i'm very new to this, only started about 1.5 weeks ago.

any tips would be much appreciated, and no i'm not asking for you super mega uber secret way to make your gold, i just want to break even and at the same time skill up.

thankx in advance

DE all the greens you get. If you cant use the stuff that comes out of it then you can sell them. My strat is to buy small amounts of the mats you need for one or two of your orange enchants then sell the enchant for what you paid for the mats.

Some people have claimed great success funding their enchanting training by buying undervalued greens on the AH, DEing them, and selling the resulting mats. This is probably more true since the skill requirement for DEing high level items got added.

Buying undervalued greens certainly works. You can also look and see if there are cheap shards and other enchanting materials on the auction house already, buy them out, and resell them at a higher profit. No AH deposit means you can just keep reposting until they sell. If you are leveling a crafting skill like Tailoring, you can make the items and then disenchant them for materials as well.

If you are the salesman type, you can advertise your enchanting skills on General/Trade, and try to make money that way, or even just sit and watch the channels, answering the call to any asking for enchanting services. As an example, just a couple of nights ago I made 7 gold just disenchanting some items for someone (very nice tipper indeed!).

But I do agree, I'm in the home stretch now with enchanting, into the last 30 points, and it's painful indeed. I have basically two actually useful enchants that will skill me up, and about 4 others that would be highly situational that they're not likely to sell. It's a long road, but you'll get there in the end.

I hit the lvl-appropriate dungeons over and over. Then DONT even LOOK at the auction house, DE it ALL:grrrr:
The best cache of greens (and a couple blues)for me was Deadmines, Stockades, Scarlet Temple then Sunken Temple. Go with friends and guildies so they know to pass unneeded gear to you (it helps to promise free ench's), and keep going until you stop getting exp.
Also, network with crafters. Be a miner and skinner and horde all fabric, make friends with a tailor/leathersmith/blacksmith(again w the free ench's, they go a long way). Many green items only require multiples of one component.

Thats how I got to 300 enchant.

*meant to say Scarlet Monastary...
*AND that results vary, many of my guildies had great drops in Uldamann, and hated SM!
