Yesssss! is what I wake up to at 4am from my wife shouting that her water broke. I was have a good dream about Karazhan and as soon as I hear her shout I jump out of bed and yell "OMG What Dropped?"

I thought it was funny. Wish me a safe child birth and a healthy recovery for my wife.

Agreed!! WTF? Her water breaks and your first reaction is to go onto the forums and tell us??

And if this is your first, you are in for a big change. Say goodbye to all that WoW time. It's gonna go away for a while.

Good luck with everything!

I'm not sure I believe you are having a kid...Nobody in their right mind would be posting this on a forum, when their wife is delivering their kid...

Obviously you are set to different time zone than me, it says he posted at 6:09 am on my screen. US eastern time, and since he is from Houston Texas that puts him 1 hour behind me which would have been 5:09 am for him. Do the math

Well, he must've been thrilled with excitement, and maybe he has his pc on 24/7, and thought he'd post something. ;)
Anyways, congratulations man!

1st of all: Congrats buddy :) nice to hear there will be a little version of you running around, it's the best feeling in the world!

Honestly, when my wife went into labour, I was scared man, not because I felt "well this is the end of my party life" ... but because of "Will I be a good dad??" And since we were relatively young (My wife was 18 and I was 24) I just didn't have the confidence someone that is firmly set, with a good stable job and all that. It turned out fantastic, there's no feeling like being a dad. Saying to yourself "In this kids eyes, I'm going to be god for another 13 years"... Hopefully I'll be the cool type of dad and make fishing trips with him and his friends and let them drink a couple beers and stuff, I'll probably act the same age too lol.

Anyways, congrats man, I hope its a safe and healthy experience for the 3 of you :)

2nd of all: He could very likely be on a laptop at the hospital while his wife is trying to get some rest before pushing. I know when my wife got her epidural, we slept for 1 hour and I'll tell you, that was the most uncomfortable sleep I've ever had, but it went by quick.

Indeed. Good luck man and enjoy! Life is about to change in a very good way - just remember to be extremely patient and supportive over the next couple of months. Things are going to be very hard on her.

Just got home from the Hospital. And no, I didn't jump straight out of bed and sit at the computer to post this. My wife is an RN and has delivered several babies. Even after her water broke, she knew she had a while so we didn't leave right away so we weren't stuck in the hospital for hours that wasn't needed. I think we left to the hospital around an hour after her water broke.

Trust me guys, I didn't leave my wife and baby for the internet.

Her name is Jayden Kaye. Both are doing very well. Birth went off without a hitch and are due back home tomorrow morning. This is my 2nd child (they are 54weeks apart) so I am accustomed to having a child around. I love kids, but this is my last.

With our firstborn, my wife was set for an epidural, the nurse was in to check on her and said it was a wee bit too early. Came back to set it an hour or so later, did a quick check first, then said "Oooooh, you're having a baby, it's too late for the epidural!". My wife was pissed to say the very least O_o.

All went well though, and with the second one she didn't even want epidural.

Anyhow, congrats man and have fun! Nice name too.

Congratulations mate :). The feeling that you’re experiencing right now should be the best feeling of your life! Or when WoW was released! Hehe, I’ll leave that one up to you.

Once again congratulations!

You know this is what i love about this game, plenty of ppl my age with kids who understand my situation. I would hate playing StarCraft and telling ppl to hold on sec need to do something only to come back 2 min later and im dead. On this game i can say brb kid is crying, or need to put in a movie for the kids, or whatever and almost always grp will stop and say np. I love that!!!!!

p.s. Tanitha, i'm dying to know, are you a chick or a guy? Sometimes i read your posts and think this is definatly a chick, and then other times a guy, and with a name like Tanitha how can one tell???????
