:embarassed: Hey guys, i hope not to drag any flames or harassment into this lmao, but i have a question about the various WoW Power Leveling services offered throughout the web. Personally i have barely anytime to play, so leveling is out of the question really, but i sitll want to be able to play this game. And seeing how i am only interested in endgame, i am considering to pay for a power leveling service.

I am just wondering if any1 out there has done this also, and could recommend a good site/service. I dont want to end up paying for poor service or NO service at all (meaning scammed).

Thanks, lookin forward to feedback:rolleyes:

You'll pay. They'll take a few weeks to powerlevel you. You play for a week or two, very badly because you don't know how to operate your class. They'll hack you, steall all your gold, disenchant your items, send it to a mule and sell it over the internet. And you'll never be able to do anything about it, because you brought it on yourself. And then'll you'll get banned, and you will deserve it.

Don't be stupid, play the game as it was meant to be.

Not a good idea. This site does not condone the use of those sites in any shape, size or form.

That aside - consider that you are putting your account into the hands of a third party. They now have your account details. What happens if they run off with it?

And apart from that - you are missing out on the whole point of World of Warcraft. It's as much about the journey as it is about endgame. If all you want is end-game - Guild Wars might be a better choice as you can roll a max level character immediately.

Leveling services are against the terms of use, against this sites rules and against the common sense god gave a gnat.

In this era of identity theft you are seriously thinking about giving your password and payment information to someone then HOPING they don't use this information to steal your account, book a trip to fiji, use your toons to spam ads in town, get your IP banned and then spray paint your dog green.

Power leveling will get you banned - and if you are lucky all you will lose is your account.

These kinds of things are not allowed on this forum as you may read from the rules on the top of the page.

You won't be of any use in endgame if you got someone to powerlevel you character for you anyway so I suggest you take it one step at the time :)

edit: wow, that sure was some fast replies ;)

In all honesty most of the fun comes from making and playing with friends. If your character is played by a power leveler all the way up to lvl 60 how many enemies will he have made? They often won't respond to chat, if they group they have no issues with stealing (ninjaing) items, they generally get a reputation for farmers or bots - all of this under your name by the way - and they make no friends in the game.

Now, here you are on a server where a lot of folks know each other and people are guilded up and having a great old time and you take over your character not knowing even the basics and expect to get into end game content with these people despite possibly having a serverwide bad reputation. Then 3 weeks later your account is stolen, blizzard bans you for power leveling and then you are getting charges for strange and unusual purchases on the credit card you gave them to pay for the service.

Really it is a sad sad tale.

Yeah - you make all your friends on the way to 60/70. Who are you going to raid with?

There are guilds and then there are guilds - some really suck, some are great, they all raid.

You won't know if you land at 60/70 where to go.

IF, and I repeat IF you did it, I would ONLY do it with prepaid cards, and on a seperate account that your real account. That way, if you are hacked/banned, you don't loose everything...

but really, most of the joy in the game is discovery.... you'll find that many of the lvl 70 raiding-guild types treat the game as a job, and there isn't as much fun there, and they aren't going to appreciate someone who hasn't learned how to play the character.

don't get sucked in with all the lvl 70 talk... play the game at your pace, and just enjoy it...

I agree with everyone else on this post. I started WOW very late Nov 06, By just playing a few hours a day(not wasting time in battlegrounds or just standing around in a city) My main character is now at lvl 69 half way to 70.

It will take you some time but you need to lvl your own character in order to be of use in any instance. I have changed my fighting style at least 4 times since lvl 20. If you dont play you will never figure out how to play well.

If you are interested, start a toon on the deathwing server and i will give you a hand whenever you need anything. I have a lvl 19 toon that i am starting to play more regularly now and we could possibly quest together. EVERYONE HATES BOTS AND POWERLEVERS DONT CONTRIBUTE TO WHAT WE ALL HATE. LOL

there are people who offer powerleveling. and there are also lot of scammers. if you're really interested then go for big power leveling companies. they just powerlevel you char then when they reach your desired level they return it to you..i know some people who powerleveled their characters! i say that if you're really interested, just go for big powerlevel company..Goodluck!

i was just giving him some options, just trying to help him out!..he wants to powerlevel so who are we to hold him back?? if he's rich and willing to spend it that way, so be it! if he gets scammed or got banned etc. it's his own char anyway! i bet you don't have so you are like getting mad or something??
