I have a 92MB file that I want to condense to as small as possible. I tried zipping it, but it ended up being 90MB. Is there any way to make this file MUCH smaller?
Any help would rock!

Would it be acceptable to break the file up into seperate peices, and reassemble them when they have arrived at whereever needed?
Beyond generic tips like Zipping, RARing, or splitting it up, we'd have to know what kind of a fie type we were dealing with. There are tricks with words documents to shrink them for instance. MP3s can also be shrunk in a completely different way. There are often unique file extension specific ways to which can help, but we can't suggest any of them without the extention be identified, else it would limit any suggested methods somewhat.

Sorry guys....was watching LOTR...
Anyways....its a .wav file. I don't really have any experience with doing this....but I am aware that you can.....somehow...break it up into some type of file, zip all of those, and send them.....
Then when the person downloads all of them they can re-assemble them back into one.
Kalos, that sounds like what you are talking about...how do I break it up? What type of file do i condense it to?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as usual!
