Level for TBC?

Im approaching 58 (just hit 57) and am getting a little ansy over TBC (first character, havent even seen Outland). I was just wondering what level the quests are as well as the mobs. Ive heard they give almost double the experience then pre-TBC areas.

Go to outlands at 58, you will be fine. You will make lots of gold and exp.

yep heelfire mobs are fine for over 58. i found it a little hard as a warrior to start of but after doing a few q's and getting some better equips i was soon killing with the best of them and having fun.
a guild member of ours was 53 and got a mage to open a portal to shat cioty for him and he then started grinding in outlands from lvl 53

thank you for the responses. However, I my OP was if a) i can last as a 57 pally, and b) can i obtain the quests at 57.
