So what are some Kick-Ass Critical Hits you've scored in WoW?

Note: Please be honest about this. This isn't to see who can pwn the most people with the highest uber leet damage crit. It's just for fun. So please no photoshopping, unless it's to just magnify the screen so we can see the damage value.

70 Shadow Priest, in a group with nine others. I had about seven different buffs on me, and I cast a Mind Blast which critted for about 1700 damage. On average it seems to do between 800 and 1200, depending on gear. Haven't had it since.

I have screenshots, just of the group and fighting, no damage (alt+z).

shot of a 4 second soulfire crit of 4600+ (normally hits for about 1800-2000)

my next shot also crit, shadow bolt for 3000+ damage, ended up 2 shotting a lvl 70 mage.

Don't have critline and the screenie to prove it, but what I have is a screenie of my shadow damage bonus....with Ruin it could be awesome....

With my 38 Shaman I can do about a 400 some-odd critical with my Frost and Earth Shocks. Gotta love Elemental Fury, gives your critical hits a 100% bonus to damage.

mindblast crit for 1600 than shadowword death crit for 1400. was amazing =)

also in a 29 wsg my frost mage critted frostbolt for 350 2x's in a row :grin:

I heard about mages getting ridiculous crits with ice lance though (someone posted a screen on the official forums of a 5k crit). This was done on a frozen target with no trinkets, AP or whatever. I actually got it a few times, so I guess that my gear gives lance crits of this range.

With my warlock, I had a 13k + crit with curse of doom against Osirrian in AQ20 before BC came out.

Yeah yeah... it's cheating though because he was weak to shadow when it went off... but still though... 13,000 plus.

I got a 48 Warlock with +120 ish dmg, and hes alch so i make myself Shadow Power Pots and Arcane Elixirs, and at 48 I can 2 shot lvl 43-45 mobs if both Shadowbolts Crit. its amazingly fun :afro:

Just hit lvl 48 last night with my mage. I'm full fire atm and I have 104 fire damage. I was at the GM and I grabbed the zerker and hit a 49 NE rogue with a 1276 fireball. I'm in class right now so I can't post the screenshot. Wish I would have hit that dude with a pyro instead but either way, him being at 80% health, it killed him. Made me feel good.

I can regularly crit over 5k with a AP/trinket/POM/Pyro but my high is a 5500....not including pyro's dot and ignite talent. so around 8-8.5k :grin: poor people dont stand a chance when i slow fall dive bomb them. oh i have about +800 spell damage atm.

i broke the 3k mark for the first time the other day in mana tombs, i crit'd the frist void boss for 3200. then proceeded to crit myself for 3000 when he reflected. OUCH! does that count if you crit yourself?

With my 45 Elemental Specced shaman, I can get my Lightning bolts to crit around the high 600s, about 660ish.

Laugh I know, but for a shaman that's not too bad seeing as how the highest rank of Lightning bolt does damage in the 700s.

Heh... yeah demonology/Ruin Locks can get some insane crit numbers. My best on record is 4700 (against non sensitive mobs) ... I hit 8k against Ossiran on a fun run a while back. I've since respecced to affliction though so I get no more pretty numbers. I am curious to see what I can do though because I have added a ton more +shadow dmg since I hit that 4700 crit. My record with an affliction spec is 2800+.

In a group with a shadow priest the other night I had a 4700 shadowbolt crit.

Warlock Dest. build, level 70 in mostly blue quest items and blue endgame gear. (+700 spelldamage) Best was a crit from incinerate, with immolate on the target hitting for about 3.6k

Hope to break the 4k barrier someday :)

On my 70 arms warrior, I was helping a mate in Westfall, he had a mob to like 10%, I had full rage, EXECUTED BAM DEAD.

It was 6.5k around that mark anyway, will search for the screenie :wave:

When I was destro I crit with Soul Fire for 5k plus with a shammy totem down. Since then I have gone to affliction (40/0/21 build) my bolts are critting for an average of 3000 up to 3500 when I group with a shammy. I have 812 bonus spell damage (with fel armor buff) which I think is pretty good considering I don't have any points in the Demo tree.

Be curious to see my crits if I went back into Destro but affliction is just soooo much better in the Heroic instances with the instant fear CC ability and the serious dot damage you can do to all the mobs. My DPS has gone through the roof with this new spec :)

so far lvl 59 MM hunter, i had a 1863 crit on an aimed shot...other than that as a BM hunter, 863 with a multi, and 790 with an arcane...pets biggest crit 602...he usually crits for 490-510ish

hmm not spent long enough as either enhanced or elemental to take note of my crits, think i had a WF proc for 4k.

most my time is spent as resto.

with around 1090 healing i regularly crit for 6000-6500 on my healing wave hit higher that 6500 on a few occassions, never though to screeny them tho.

proberly get more if i bothered to use both my trinkets which i think would take my healing to around 1500ish.

might take a few tonight when instancing, see what i can come up with.

might get that critline, save me taking my eye of the teams health bars then :thumbsup:

Yes lvl 70, and not that hard with 1400 +healing (or above) and a heavy holy build. I reckon people can do 8k greater heals as well with trinketing, never tried that.

no i suppose you are right,

they cant really be compared with damage crits when you consider the +healing on gear is always 1.5-2 times higher than +damage and healing on an item. resulting in 1000+ dmg is far harder to achieve than 1300+ healing.

the best i have received was from our main priest, top end of 8K IIRC

I crit quite often at 1000 pts with Immolate on my Lock(annoying cus it's instant aggro then) and average around 1800 crit on shadowbolt though it has popped for around 2400 before... I havn't really kept track of it tho I'm stoked when I do hit a big one.....Lvl 62 Destro Lock

I've done a couple 4,300+ Execute Crits. Not sure how much beyond that, but those are of recent memory and under full buff situations too with really good gear.
