I didnt start working this very much until recently. Im 177/225 but cant find more recipes. Ive got all of them from Iron Froge. Am I missing something?

Going in for the fast response...

There are a number of books to enable you to learn better recipes. It seems like you found the person to sell you the book going from 150-225, so that same person should be selling books on Heavy Silk Bandages, Mageweave, and iirc Heavy Mageweave bandages.

Then you head to Arathi and do a simple quest there for 225+

I think alliance can buy first aid books from Stromegard keep in Arathi - enter the castle and take your first right into the allied controlled part, then right again and again so that you cross that bridge that spans the entry road and the dude you need is in a little garden are just off the bridge .... on the right.

After you get the mageweave books you need to do the quest in theramore - inside the castle look for trauma surgeon.

lots of hurt guys spawn and you have to bandaid them - best way to do this is stand in the middle of the room and try to spin rather than run bed to bed, you need to take a few steps now and then but not as many as if you tried to get closer. You can also target your next while casting bandage on the first - this way as soon as one guy is done you are ready to click start the next. Add your bandaid roll to an action key for the quest and you should be fine.

Many people fail the first few times so don't take it badly if you don't get it right away.

thanks for the help. I went back to stormgarde and got the recipes. they were red to me so i didnt even look at them. I just need to make lots of silk bandages to be able to actually get them. btw. if anyone is looking for the merchant....he is in camo. Hard to spot.
