Help leveling engineering past 350!

I am a level 350 goblin engineer and am finding leveling it to be prohibitivly expensive. Can some of you fellow engineers offer some advice as to to most cost effective way to level myself the rest of the way to 375? Thanks.

Wait until the next big patch.

They're meant to be overhauling engineering soon. I'd put it on hold for now if I was you and carry on once it's been looked at.

Problem is that I aquired the schematic for the Ornate Khorium rifle, and I Want to get them in production before the market is flooded with people who can make them.

It's not going to be a quick grind I can tell you that...after getting my transporter at 350, I believe I grinded out my next 9 points on white smoke flares which are pretty cheap but were green recipes at the time, still had a decent skill up rate...or maybe it was adamantite rifles.. Now, 360 engineering, you have 3 choices pretty much.

Felsteel boomstick- some engineers in a small demon camp in blades edge

Khorium Scope -sunfury bowman in netherstorm

and um...oh hell I'm at work some leather goggles with melee dps and stealth detection cooldown. - Engineers at illidari point in shadowmoon.

These are all 360 engineering BOP schematics for blue items. They drop off non elite mobs outside of instances, each one took me no more than 30 minutes to acquire solo. These all start at orange skill and will take you to 375. I suggest looking up the schematics on wowhead since I can't link these from here. Each one of these requires quite a few pricey mats to produce(why does a scope require 30 adamantite BARS for a tube, and thats just one part!), unfortunately you have no choice but to skill up on these.

what I did was smoke flares to 355, adamantite rifle till 360, then I went farming the schematic Felsteel Boomstick (http://www.thottbot.com/?s=Felsteel%20Boomstick) and got it after the 9th kill. This is the cheapest way to hit 375, or free crafting of khorium scope. And by the way Khorium Ornate rifle sux big time... you wont make any gold from it, I got the schematic too but only to fill the gap in my collection as a I am devoted engineer.
