lol, I thought it was quite funny. Observe:
Most users ever online = 5,923
Current active users = 1,635
That means that between that one time with a lot of users and right now there were a total of 2,442 people EVER online :grin: Come on WoW.net!! Pick up the pace!!

Oh my :azn: I've not had to explain what those stats are for 9 years but I always knew I would, one day.
There was, once, 5,923 people surfing these forums at the same time. At this particular time ('Current') there are 1,635 people surfing the forum.
I'm going to assume you've been at the Trogg Ale my friend and had a wee brain burp :shocked:

I was referring to one of the banner ads on the page. You know the kind that say "you are visitor number 999,999! Click here to claim your prize!"? Except this one said, exactly "This is not a joke! You are the 10,000th visitor!" The first sentence is funny enough, but 10,000 is such a tiny number for a site that has nearly 2000 online at any given moment. :grin: So I did a bit of math and figured that between the all-time highest and right now there were only 2500 people online total (in order for me to have been number 10,000).

I've seen that ad. I was also the 10,000th visitor. No joke. :grin:
All-time highest = the highest amount of people online at one particular moment in time
Total online = the number of people online right now, at this moment in time
so, i've posted more than ppl visited? wow...

Your original post didn't mention any banner advert, just the forum figures. The title didn't mean anything.
As for the banner advert you saw, that wasn't for us. We don't advertise worldofwar.net in our banner ads. That'll be for whatever company it goes to when clicked. I've never clicked that advert so I can't tell you who it is but apparently I'm the 10,000 couple times a week which is a neat trick. :shocked:
