power lvling Skinning guide? is there one

hi i just recently got this new skill skinning and i want to farm for my epic mount. How would i go about power lvling this. Are there cords and places, aka guide to where i can go to power lvl my skinning? Like for certain spots pending on my lvl skinning?

There are no powerlevelling guides for the gathering professions afaik.

Just go out and kill stuff, then skin it, bearing in mind that you'll need to start with lvl 5 mobs and work your way up. If you're Horde start in Mulgore, move on to the Barrens, working your way N to south, then go to 1000 needles, Tanaris and finally Un'goro.

For alliance try Goldshire, Westfall, Duskwood, STV working your way South and finally Un'goro too.

I just recently 'powerleveled' skinning on my Nelf.

1-75 played southpark killing boars in Elwyn Forrest - takes about 10 minutes

76-130 - boars/whelps in Redridge - takes about 30 minutes
131-150 - Worgren in Darkshire

151~180 - Raptors in Wetlands - about 30 minutes
181~225 - Dragonkin in Theramore outside of Ony's cave - about 45 minutes

226~260 - Turtles in Hinterlands - About 45 minutes
260~300 - Dragonkin in Burning Steepes - About 45 minutes

Skill levels are approximate and all based on my memory of something I did about a month ago, so very sketchy. I did this as a 60 Hunter, Alliance side of course. I chose my prey based on population density and for the leather/scales they would drop being somewhat valuable. There may be easier prey than the turtles/dragonkin, but I thought they were worth the effort for the scales, and I never was at a loss to head to the next mob.

I have to agree that they are no and shouldn't be any leveling guides for gathering skills. Just go out and get it, too simple.

However, It is nice to hear where to get hte stuff in question.

As for skinning, thats too easy. I have 3 toons that are skinners, and this is by far the quickest skill to increase IMO. Kill - Skin - Rinse - Repeat. lol.

I have found on all 3 toons, that by the time I reach 35ish, I'm at 300 skinning. Once your'e around level 31, maybe 30, go to STV. That is a skinners heaven. There are nothing but animals there, and a lot of them. Just kill everything, do some quests, and after a few levels, your'e 300 skinning, too easy. Of course you have to make sure your skinning is at a level to skin the animals there first.
