Sorry if this has been asked before but I didn't have a clue how to search for it. Sometimes, when there is Horde in the area (I am Alliance), their level will show and sometimes it will just say ???.

Also, along the same lines, what does the different colors names mean. I think my name is blue but some people's name is green. I'm thinking it's probably something simple but I cant figure it out. Thanks!

It means they are 10+ levels higher then you.

Blue = normal, green = PvP flag is turned on (if you see the yellow color on the opposite faction, it means you are in Pvp mode)

Correction:

If you see yellow on the opposite faction it means THEY have their pvp tag on, but you do not. If they are red, it means you both have your flags on.

Yeah, when you see lvl ?? with a red name, run away. When you it with yellow, you're safe unless you do something to flag yourself PvP, like attack him or buff a player who is flagged PvP. I've had horde follow me around taunting me when I'm in friendly territory and not flagged to try to get me to fight. Sometimes annoying, sometimes entertaining.

When you are flagged PvP, the little icon shows up on your picture on-screen, and your name will appear green to all allies, and yellow or red to horde. If you're ever curious how your name looks to others, you can turn it on or off for yourself in the interface options menu.
