can rogues wear metal. AKA engineering goods

can anyone tell me if this is true
my logic is this
if rogue cant wear metal armour then surley they wont be able to wear metal enginnering goods such as helmets and googles

Correct....but a majority of the engineering items are cloth...there are a few leather and a few mail items.

Rogues can't wear the mail ones.
