blizzard downloader bug?

I just started my downloader for the newest patch and it says:
The tracker is not responding. More Info
Your computer appears to be behind a firewall. More Info
But I don't have a firewall atm and It is still downloading really slow.
Anyone know what i can do against this?

btw the first 44% went fine then it went rlly slow. its about 14 min after it hit 44% and its at 65%

Could be your ISP shielding the connection. Could also be your router. By firewall, it means any sifting and regulating force on the connection between you and the destination address.

But i didn't have problems last patches and no router
and I havent changed anything...

I had that problem also, it appeared to freeze at 6%, 10%, 24% etc. I closed it and restarted it once and it jumped up another 20% or so before starting to crawl again. You could try closing and restarting every time it freezes, but I just let it take its time and did something else for a bit, it got there in the end.

I also haven't changed anything and have never had this particular problem before.

Sometimes the Blizzard Downloader is as slow as a snail - at other times it's a whizz.

Have you tried downloading the patch from this site? Just put it into your wow folder - you should see other patches there too. Once you restart the game the downloader will see the patch in the folder and install it for you.

I had the same problem as Ganondorf & Sycamore (6%, 13%, etc) & it hasnt happened before.

All in all it took about 2 hours with much gnashing of teeth, but all is fine now.

Maybe something to with extended maintenance on certain EU servers yesterday? Or that new armoury beta thing?

Oh well, im back playing now anyway!
