For those of you that are using a mouse that has the additional buttons on the side (opposed to your standard left and right click buttons), are these programmable in the key bindings section? Before I run out and buy one, I was hoping someone could answer this. It would certainly make my gaming easier if I was able to incorporate two additional (that would make four in all) mouse buttons into the game. Thanks in advance.

I believe so. I haven't actually done it myself, but as long as the mouse uses DirectInput bindings for the buttons, I believe WoW can detect them.

I am sure it can be done with macro's. Not sure if it can be done in the key bindings section.

My mouse has Sinister Strike (keyboard 9) on mouse4 , Backstab (keyboard 0) on mouse5. <Stealth Bar , KS on mouse4 , Ambush on mouse5>
so yes you can remap keys to the additional Mouse buttons , makes Rogue running Childs Play

Sorry, I'm a little slow in the macro department. How would I go about doing that? Wouldn't I need to drag the macro icon into one of the existing hot keys? How would I then bind it to the buttons on the mouse?

On my logitech mx1000, I went into the logitech software and remapped the various buttons to F9 - F12.

Then I setup hotbar buttons to be F9-F12, and just put whatever function I wanted on those extra hotbar buttons.

Wrong kind of macro.

Depends completely on the compatibility of the mouse/mouse driver combo.
