Well, there are two.

1. Uldaman, which everyone knows about. Need to be level 35 to chat.

2. Scyer tier, Shattrath. Can someone confirm - until you choose a side, both are unfriendly to you. You get the side-choosing quest at 58.

I got summoned to shattrath and saw that aldor and scryer were red, but it was a few weeks ago and I may be mistaken.

I also got a summon to HH, the enchanter there does not teach master :-(

Then I did my homework and found there were only 2.

Both are neutral until you chose sides...it was for me that way when I was 63 with my lock and it is now that way for my 60 priest and my sons 51 mage

If it is your second proff, IIRC you can only train that at 40...but I might be wrong here...

Can someone confirm that you can train the 225+ trainer stuff in shatt? My little shammy could avoid some tedious trips to Uldaman if this is the case. If it isn't, I'd like to get them out of the way now and avoid breaking up the flow of the Outlands levelling rampage.

I remember that and must have missed it when it was changed...

That's right. Lost a lot of time this weekend running to Feralas with my lvl 28 pally looking to boost leatherworking.

My main is 53, and still stuck at 225 enchanting. I don't want to go into Ulda with a PUG and ditch them when I cross path with the Enchant teacher.

By the way, is he really far in the instance? Can I go alone or with just one other guy 50ish?
Thanks

Not very. I might well have to find out the answer to your question, by taking a pair of mid 50s to ulda tonight to try and train up some...

Keep me posted about how that goes. I'm a 53 lock and probably would be going with 51 warrior.

At your level, you should be able to solo far enough into Uldaman, though if you don't have any AoEs you'll want to compensate somehow, there are some rather nasty scorpid packs in there. There are about 10 linked non-elite scorpids in each pack, and I think you have to clear three packs to reach the trainer. Also, assume that whoever's doing the AoEs will get hit a lot, so if you're using a channeled AoE, make sure there's something in place to avoid interruptions. I've had good luck using a hunter with an owl to solo the packs, or a mage backed up by healers. Using a druid casting hurricane did not work so well, but the druid was mid 40s, a higher level one could probably pull it off, especially with barkskin.

The catch is, the trainer is in a side room with nothing else interesting in the room, but won't spawn until you clear the scorpid pack in the room. If you are just looking for NPCs, you'd probably skip the room as not worth the hassle. I'm sure you'll have no problems finding an instance guide with a map with her spawn location marked, and I highly recommend that you don't even consider this run without doing so. You can skip half of the stuff in the instance before her just by knowing the path to the trainer.

Basically, by the time you reach her, the scorpid packs are the worst thing you've had to face. I think the highest elite by that point is 36 or so, the 40 elites don't show up until later or on a skippable side path or two.

As a side note, If you've already been in the instance, you can skip a lot of the trash by coming in the back entrance, though that brings you in right behind a "boss". Boss isn't too bad once you're in your 50s.

what level do you need to train master enchanting? i know artisan is lvl 35...I could be wrong and I don't have the time right now to go look things up properly, but I seem to recall there is a minimum level requirement of 50 for any Master training, so that would include Enchanting.

I thought Master was 45, from my memory when I talked to the trainer at Honor Hold (yeah, I got a summon to HH as well in my search).

So... no-one has tried the Scryer tier at Level 35? That would be really good to know.

And if you have, could you talk to the master enchanter?

p.s. I think you can go in the back entrance even if you've never been to Uldaman before

To anyone interested :

Went there this weekend. Warrior 53 + Lock 52. You can easily reach the trainer. You just need to know where you are going. Don't forget to bring mats to reach 265 so you can train for most recipes.

My brother took his 55 lock in and got to the trainer solo, for what it's worth :)

Geospawn, there are no caps at 250.

it's 75, 150, 225, 300, 375.

you can get 300 enchanting max at level 35 - that's what i just did.

Wups - I have to correct my previous post.

the trainer at Honor Hold wants you to be level 50 to train enchanting 375

He will however train you enchant bracers assault and chest - restore mana prime at enchant 300.

Now this is also a little strange... i guess I only checked the scryer tier last time I was there... but I can access the aldor tier, and I am 500/3000 friendly with Aldor, and neutral with Scryer... however, if I try to access the Scryer tier, I get attacked and the banish debuff. I am Dreanei, so maybe that's it?

here's my armory rep link...

http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/?#character-reputation.xml?r=Dath%27Remar&n=Scrape

I was level 46 and certainly have not done any outlands quests.. I checked and there aren't any quests outside of outland that give aldor rep...

??? puzzled. But nice, since my hearth is now Aldor Tier Shattrath - getting around via portal is sweeet - IF to SW via hearth, portal - quickest way!

hmmm ... question .. if HH and Moonglade the same thing?

i found that you learn the runed arcanite recipe from moonglade

Runed Arcanite Rod -- Lorelae Wintersong (Neutral) -- Moonglade

a lil bit confused

nvm i figured out the Moonglade thingy .. it was only the rod recipe

does the master in HH allow you to buy any more recipes? or is it all AH from there?

I've heard you can get to the chant trainer in Ulda by the back door, and that he is fairly close to it.

Yes...you still have to get past the Obsidian sentinel and a room full of elite dwarves...

Not soloable until at least 50 (more like 55 for most of us mere mortals), unless you are very stealthy - still have to take out a boatload of scorpions before the teacher appears.

My 36 Warlock has been maxxed out at enchanting and tailoring (225) for awhile now. I am going to have to take him to uld to get him higher. I just started a guild and going to need a resident enchanter.
