I guess this should go here... not really sure where else. I keep forgetting to look this up when I'm at home and I can't when I'm at work.
Does anyone know where I can get the crawdads for making spicy crawdads... I assume they are from fishing but where? It would really be nice to get that +30 stam buff from cooking them.

"You don't know what one is either, huh?"
Yeah, fishing. Try the waters in Terrokar Forest.

you have to be able to fly and then you go to one of the 3 elevated lakes in terrokar. you will need to find the special "schools" there and have a very high fishing skill.hope thats of use

Ah cool yeah that does help... I've got my epic flying mount so no worries there. What is "very high" fishing skill? I'm not maxed out but with lures I'm able to fish the pure water in the elemental plateau is that "high" enough?

My fishing is at 379 (334 base plus assorted gear) and even if I have the +100 fishing lure on, they get away a lot. You really want to have max fishing up there.

The numbers I have heard are that you need 430 fishing just to cast, and around 500ish to not have your fish constantly get away.
I only have 310 fishing, so with my 100 lure and my 20 fishing pole, I won't be catching jack.
They only come from the special pools (like fish schools), not just anywhere in the lake.
"Mixed Highland School" is what they are called ....

They are available only when you find a mixed highland school. After you've fished it, the next respawn is at least an hour. Average is that you get 2 furious crawdad per school. On top of the rare times you might catch one, there are elites patrolling the areas near the schools. You also get others competing for the same schools. It's a real pain to send a lot of time to catch a few crawdads. IMO, if you're in it to make money, it's not worth it. You can make a lot more catching golden darters and making golden fish sticks. If you're doing it for to +30 stam...I'd only use it for the really tough bosses. I

In the PTRs the skyguard honor-rep food was 30stam... I was quite disappointed when it was lowered to 20. I was going to have an easy way to get the 30stam food.
In any case, it's easy to find 20stam food (buzzard bites, etc)... and the extra 10stam really isn't worth the time farming.... especially since you can buy a stack from skyguard for a couple gold.
10 stam = 100 HP, or 120-130hp if you're a bear.

Sorry for the back to back posts... can't edit my previous one
I saw in the 2.1.2 patch notes that the Skyguard Rations are being nerfed... don't know how much. It said the stam/spi was being lowered and same with the buff duration.
ahhh well... back to farming.
