Questions on Paid Character Transfer

I just did a paid-transfer for one of my mid-level rogues to a different (lower-population) realm. I got an email saying that the transfer was complete, but it has only been about half an hour. I am at work and can't check whether the transfer is indeed complete.

Is it possible this character is already transferred and playable?

Mine was immediate....you should be good to go when you get back.

When you log in, check your character, check his bank, check everything. There is a small chance that you could have lost some gear in the process.

Yep, that transfer is complete. So I transferred my main as well. Of course that one is taking forever...
