How to get to Darnassus

I am new and I don't know how to get to Darnassus (I am alliance). Could anyone help? Thanks.

Go to Wetlands, take the boat to Darkshore and from Darkshore take the boat or hippogryph to the village in Teldressil. When in the village go to the portal and you'l be in DS

Just for the sake of details, From Menethil Harbor, in Wetlands, the dock on the right goes to Auberdine, Darkshore. Once there, you can either fly or boat to Rut'theran Village, Teldrassil, where there is a portal into Darnassus.

In case you're really new, the portal is the glowing pink tent-thingy.

Scary....I'm a lvl 16 Pally, and I figured the road north out of Lakeshire would be a safe enough way to make it to Loch Modan and meet up with a Night Elf friend of mine who was on his way down from Loch Modan

I made it quite literally about 10-15 steps before two level 20+ dudes came rioting after me. So much for that dream. :(
