ag_unitframes spamming my chat channel

Whenever I activate ag_unitframes on my Priest 33, I get flooded with constant "You don't have permission to do that" messages. My character also vocally says "I can't do that", "I don't have permission to do that", etc.

It only happens on that character. All my other characters do not have this problem (5 other chars). I tried deleting the ag_unitframes files under WTF to reset the settings but it doesn't work. The only thing special about my priest is that he's the only one in a large guild.

Anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

How do you know it's ag_Unitframes that is the cause of the issue. Have you tried disabling your addons and activating them one by one to attempt to see if another addon is conflicting?

It sounds like you either have an old version of ag_UF, or an addon that updates it, that is still trying to use the older methods of invoking spells and such used before the WoW 2.0 API changes.

The fact that it only happens on one character almost reinforces this and to me, hints that it isn't ag_UF itsef, as some addons have functionality that only kicks in when the user is a certain class.

Yeah, it may be another addon doing it in the presence of AgUF. Either way, make sure all your addons are completely up-to-date. For the most current AgUF out (I think it was updated just last night or today), check http://files.WoWAce.com/.

That's likely. I know a lot of Ace2 mods are updated frequently, but I noticed AgUF was updated 2+ times since I got it, two or three days ago.

I'm using the last version of ag_unitframes, and I determined it was causing the issue because the issue went away when I de-activate ag_unitframes.

However, I will try disabling other addons to see if it might be a problem with another addon causing ag_unitframes to have this bug.

Ok indeed the problem went away after I deactivate all addons but ag_unitframes. I turned my other addons one by one until I found the culprit: Cartographer!

Problem solved, the latest version of Cartographer seems to have fixed the problem!

If you're running more than one Ace2 mod, I recommend getting WinAceUpdater from http://WoWAce.com/ to update you mods. Some mods are updated on a daily basis, and WinAceUpdater is the easiest way to update daily.
