Not sure if this is the correct place to put this but oh well  .
Well anyways, i need help with figuring out how to make a Macro that will switch my weapons ( i am a noob at this kind of stuff:embarassed: ). I have downloaded WeaponQuickSwap and tried figuring that out,but i failed.
so if anyone can help me with making a macro to switch weapons it will be greatly appreciated. I am trying to use these weapon - Protector's Sword and Ebon Scimitar of the Monkey for DW, Protector's Sword and Captain's Buckler of the Bear for tanking, and i also still have my Whirlwind Axe. so can somebody explain how to make a macro to switch between my Tank set and DW or vise versa, and between my Axe and Tank or Tank to Axe, and also Dw to Axe or Axe to DW. :undecided: .Well yeah.....dont know if anyone understood me but i hope someone did. :ponder:

Hi,

did you try Stancesets ? You can select (or not) your weapons by stance, or rotate sets by hitting a key.

there are two slash commands you need to know:

/equip <item name>
/equipslot <slot> <item name>

Equip slot numbers are:
1 is Head, 2 is Neck, 3 is Shoulder, 4 is Shirt, 5 is Chest, 6 is Waist, 7 is Legs, 8 is Feet, 9 is Wrist, 10 is Hands, 11 is Top Finger, 12 is Bottom Finger, 13 is Top Trinket, 14 is Bottom Trinket, 15 is Back, 16 is Main Hand, 17 is Off-Hand, 18 is Ranged, 19 is Tabard, 20 is Ammo,

You can then add a modifier, so that pressing the macro, will do one thing, and then pressing the macro +alt will do another.

For example:

/equipslot 16 Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker
/equipslot 17 Elementium Reinforced Bulwark
/equipslot [modifier:ctrl] 17 Sickle of Unyielding Strength
/equipslot [modifier:alt] 17 Draconian Deflector

pressing that normally will give you Sword and Shield, pressing+ cntrl will give you DW, pressing+alt will give you an alternative shield.

I hope that gives you an idea of what you can do, but if you change your weapons, remember to change the macro.

Ooh I do like that Modifier key idea. Where's the best place to go to get a decent list/breakdown of macro commands?
