Ok so im a 375 herb/alch and i primarily make my money off of farming primals and selling them or primal mights (trasmute mastery spec). i do make some money off of herbs every once in a while but its kinda seldom because as i said i make it another way. i dont have any flask recipes learned yet so i dont think i would be missing out on much as of now. So is tailoring pretty profitable? i would think with the spellthreads and bags, mooncloth and such that it is. how long does it usually take to farm/create these mats? another factor of why i was thinking of switching is some of the tailoring only gear which seems pretty nice, are these items alot of work to obtain? are they worth it? im a fire mage by the way. any help/suggestions would be awesome,

As far as farming it takes me all day. I farm the spider silk while skinning with my hunter in black morass. I farm cloth and green drops which are the primary source of my arcane dust/planars at another location.

Once i start pumping out items though its all $$

Im really considering it after seeing the spellfire items, wow! i know some of those mats will be a pain to farm for but damn those are some sweet items.
anyone got a tailoring 1-375 guide?

where do you get those spellfire patterns? are they trainable or are they rare drops somewhere?

Go ahead.....if you don't like tailoring you can always drop it and re-take herb as it's so easy to skillup (should take less than 4 hours 0-375 as a lvl 70 to do).

you are very right about that. so far i have leveled up to 361 in tailoring and got my spellfire belt so far. but man to get to 375 i need to farm/buy some serious mats just to skill up as the items i need to make are all blue boe's.
so far i have dropped around 400g leveling up, a bit pricey but damn that spellfire set is sexy! and i will make my money back in due time :)
