Hello everyone,

I have a bit of an odd question, but I'm hoping someone smarter than me could help me out. :flowers:

I am studying chinese in Taiwan and I play the Taiwanese version of the game on a Taiwanese server. My notebook has an english version of Windows, but I can type chinese just by selecting chinese language from the Windows' own language bar(I have chinese language pack installed).

However I encountered a problem. I can't type chinese in WoW!

The game displays all chinese characters in the game and I can see what people write to me, I can even write a macro in chinese in Windows (WoW/WTF/Account/macros-cache) and use them in the game, but when I try to type chinese myself the game displays all my characters as question marks ?????

Can anyone help me solve this? Thank you so much in advance

I think I may have accidentally just fixed the problem by going to the regional and language options and changing the language for non unicode programs and adding more "checks" to the code page conversion tables... these can be found in the advanced options if anyone has the same problem. To be honest I have no idea what I just changed but I can type chinese in the login screen! (can't test this in the game yet because the servers are down for the next couple of days due to the patch 2.0.1 finally coming to Taiwan).
