i am an armou smith 362/375 and am wondering if it is really sorth staying just for a chest piece. and its only a chest piece and not a set of armour. yes the chest peice looks very nice good strength and stam but with enough rep from the factions a basic black smith can make all the tanking and raid sets of armour so why did i spend ages getting all the mats i needed to lvl my skills up.
in basic wow the rewards for weapon smith versus armour smith are similar and you need to think about the path you chose now the armoursmith is imho a waste of effort.
do any over of you armourers out there feel the same or am i missing some glaring point

I totally agree. IMO, the adamantite chest plate is almost as good, esp when you consider the mats to make the armorsmith chest. I switched to Axesmith (will cost you 100g) and made the 1 hand axe, mats were less and the upgrade for me was great (59.5 dps -> 81.1 dps).

Where do you go to change your specialty in Weaponsmithing? Gadget?
