Audio Problems

I seem to have an issue where, even after a reboot I still get no audio through my standard speakers, which work (tested using iTunes while playing WoW). However if i switch my system's audio output to a headset the WoW sounds will now work through the headset. Any ideas why I receive nothing through my speakers?

Most likely, your speakers are cheap/poor quality. It sounds like they can only handle minimal channels of audio, and that's being hogged by another program (Itunes). WoW gets no space to broadcast, no sound whatsoever.
