I have heard that this one is can be discovered. Anyone confirm this? I have done about 30 transmutes without a discovery so far.

I think if you discover this xmute you win wow.
This would be one of the greatest no effort money $$ making things of all time.
Only better if it was shadow to fire.

Dude, read up on discoveries a bit. You have a solid chance of spending all the vast money you could ever make before ever discovering the transmute.

Just to add some more info, she does/did have master xmute. Not sure if you have to have that or not. Also, she was really lucky, not sure what the number was, but after 10-15 xmutes.

Yes, i'm sure you do have to have that and yes it is extremely rare, I have not even heard of this. She might even be a world first. It isn't like someone can pump out hundreds of xmutes.

I've heard that any alc can discover.
Depending how blizz did their discovery code, being a master could help. If they did it that you have .00000X% based on clicking the create button, then it wouldn't. If it's based on each pot/xmute you create, than a master could have a better chance when the proc.
My alc is still 5 levels from being able to collect the quest for mastery... so I can't say personally. Of course he's probably going elixirs... and that requires farming my least favorite of all times... BM.
