last night I was on wow, did fine, finally dinged 70 on my lock (woot). I get on today, click on the wow launcher, and right before I get into the login screen, I get an error message...saying there isnt enough storage available to process this command. I don't have much on my computer; wow is the biggest app, and I have about 3 gigs of music. That's it besides updates. I don't know what is going on, and any help I can get will be appreciated.

Here's a pic:

I've had that problem as well, and I just reinstalled WoW, and it worked. Don't know of any solver more simple, but I'm there is one. But if it doesn't work out, just do as I did! :)

/sigh, I was afraid of that being the answer I would get...prolly shouldn't ask this q, but is there a site I can get the patches to download so I don't have to wait for blizzards own downloader?

Would have been helpful to include information about the storage, such as what is the total capacity, and how much free space is left. IF you have less than 20% free, just buy a new one. Cheapest component they make for PCs.

total HD space: 74.5 GB, free space 55.3 GB...65% free, or there abouts.

It's not necessary if there is more than half the space empty. The error is just an installation glitch, the actual limitations haven't been taxed at all; like the WOW misreadings of processor frequencies when utilising SpeedStep. The easiest way to fit a new hard drive is to get the second new HD and an appropriate cable for it (depending if it's SATA or PATA) and insert the HS into the lower, smaller drive bay next to the current hard drive, and screw it into place. Connect one of the spare PSU plugs into the socket on the back of the drive, and the ribbon cable between the hard drive and the motherboard. Ideally, this should boot up now, and be ready for use.

There are a few complications that could happen, but if you have a second computer on standby, you should be able to write to us and we can identify what has failed and make suggestions. Thankfully, as you'd only be installing a secondary hard drive, not redoing the primary one where the OS and all your personal data is stored, it's much more simple. Replacing one hard drive with a newer, better one is much harder than putting a second one to work along side the existing one and keeping that in it's current role as master.

Here is the classic IDE (PATA) installation in it's simplest form: http://www.helpwithpcs.com/upgrading/install-hard-drive.htm
