Since I waited 1 hour for a Gm to show up he and he was no help at all, I was wondering if you guys might be able to lend a hand. I had the quest for CoT for old hillbrad to get attuned for for BM. When I finished the quest, it said it was completed, but I could not turn it in. So I abandon the quest thinking I could start it over. But none of the quest givers had a ! on top of their heads. I checked the dragon at the front of the cave, the Blood elf boy who was suppose to give the quest, and the dragon and guy inside of old hillsbrad who gives you the bombs. All I have under COT in my quest log is Vials of Eternity which is a raid quest.
So basically said there is nothing he can do, and that I should check the forums. I argued that I should be entitled to those dungeons like everyone else is, he just replied check the forums. And I asked if there was going to be an ETA for a fix for me and he said he doesn't know.
I disabled all my addons, did a reload ui, deleted my wtf folder as well. Still nothing. So if you guys have any suggestion or perhaps if Im looking for the wrong quest giver... please do let me know. Cause the GMs were not very helpful...
Thank you for your time!

Possibly dumb question, but you know you turn it into the guy at the end of the Thrall event, right? I believe it's the same guy that sends you "back to your time" after you defeat the Epoch Hunter.

Yup. Did that. I just wish I didn't abandon the quest, now it seems like I cant get it back for some reason....

Addons and such wouldn't affect that.

That sure didn't stop the GM from telling me to disable and reload my ui :P
GMs are fast with pre-fabricated letters on "delete folders, dont use addons" or "we are monitoring this gold seller, be patient"
Since your GM is taking his time, he might actually contact you in person and you will get a real solution. Fingers crossed.

You get the quest again from the Thrall in the keep.

Mmm, never had a problem with either of them, other than forgetting to turn them in, and Blizz can't help with that. I wandered about CoT for ages looking for the NPC for the BM turnin, and found him at the start of the BM instance itself. However, this doesn't really help the OP.
I think for the first one, I talked to the guy after the last battle, and then had a turnin to go in the caverns itself, to one of the little kid style NPCs, to get my underwhelming ring.

The quest that completes the part you are on is given by Thrall, inside the instance.
Did you try him?

Hmm I didn't remember a ?/! on top of thralls head on the second time through the instance. And i don't have any quests under COT in my log. Any idea if thrall gives the quest, even if he doest have ?/! on his head. Would like to make sure before I drag my guild through that instance again.
Needless to say its deff. not one of our favorites.
Thanks again

I suspect that the problem has more to do with players not following the progression of the encounter, rather than the fact that "theyre pushing new contents just like that and then its all buggy and stuff". I am sure that some folks have had the occasional problem through no fault of their own, but people who actually read the quests, and do things in the right order are generally fine in there.
Some particularly dull days have involved 5-6 Durnholde Keep runs in a row, and the only problems we had were when the tank got DCed, causing a wipe- which makes perfect sense.
In non-heroic, it's not even very hard. We one-shotted it with a group of lv 68s. Even Black Morass non-heroic is harder (if only because you need to see the encounter in action before what's required of you makes any sense).
