View Full Version : Problems with Gold for Experience
Hi everyone. I just turned 70 last night. I know that since a previous patch, once you hit the level cap, all the experience rewarded for completing a quest is converted into a certain amount of gold. However, I have turned in lots of quests over the past day, and I have not received any extra gold from quests. I am only receiving the gold that I would have gotten anyway. Has this feature been nerfed or removed? Or is it not in effect in Outland?
I sent in a ticket, and I got the standard "this feature is working as expected" bot response. Any help would be appreciated.

You get more gold per turnin once hit you hit 70, and this is reflected in your quest log.
Instead of saying "Reward: 1g", it will say "Reward: 4g" or higher. Highest I've seen is 24g at the end of a long line that gave between 8 and 12g per quest.

It might be that it's just not reflected in the quest log. Try another quest and see how much gold is actually put into your inventory.

I noticed the same thing.
Before I hit 70, I checked the gold rewards in my quest log.
After 70, I completed the quest then turned it in.
(And I checked my current gold just before turning it in, in case it wasn't reflected in the reward)
Result: I didn't see any difference. The quest log listed the same gold amount for reward...before and after 70. At turn in, all I got was what the reward listed. No extra. :undecided:
Is it possible this only "works" if you accept a quest after 70 ?
No..I accepted loads of quests at 69, did them but handed them in at 70 --115 gold.

I thought at one point there was a display bug in that your quests weren't updating with the gold reward, but you were still getting the proper reward.
