Finding where other (friend) players are

I'm trying to join up with a friend who's already in a 5-group party to help as a non-group member (a tag along lol), and he is on my friends list. So i can see that he is in Desolace, for example.

But is there any other way of easily finding out where he is, short of "desolace" and whispering him?

This happens quite a lot... I've tried right-clicking his name in my Friends list and choosing Target but it doesn't seem to do anything...

if you mean a way to get a more detail'd location, i dont think so. the best way of course is to have him in your party so you can see him on the map. but is it really so hard to ask him where he is?

Not with his directions, no. This happens almost weekly (i see the forums don't have a banghead option :)

Get map mod and have him give you the coords. (assumming he or someone in the party has map mod too)
