are you serious? or is this a joke? i notice you start a lot of your threads with a zomg...what the hell does that mean? what is goldzorz? and WHY DO YOU TALK LIKE THAT?!

druid and warrior are good together, just like a priest warrior...

why dont you roll a bunch of night elf hunters and do melee only! that would be a blast

Druid/Warrior/Hunter is quite effective as the hunter's daze will make up for the warrior and druid being easy to kite - NO ONE can kite the huntard!
And about a million other combinations. In world PvP just being a group of 3 who're used to playing together will win you most fights, even if you're all prot-warriors, or for that sake melee hunters..

As for where to go for World PvP I'd suggest such locations as Booty Bay, Gadgetzan, Ratchet, or IF/UC depending on your faction.

You see a lot of munters in "PvP raids", I think it's the same mentality, "LOLz".

Myself and some compatriots of mine have come to be excessively bored trying to kill members of the opposite faction in a world in which they choose whether or not they would like to fight us. We have decided, upon much deliberation, to join a world in which anyone may be killed at any time, in any part of the world. In your opinion, please advise me to an example of an optimal group of adventurers in which to take on the opposition in such a world.

I, myself, am of the druidic order. My good friend is a battle-hardened warrior. Would the land of Westfall be a good place in which to find members of the opposite faction so that we may bring the battle to them? Would another area be more suitable to my endevours? I have asked much of you, dear WoW.net readers, yet I must accost your knowledge one more time. Would you please recommend equipment appropriate to my limited experience, equipment for which I am not able to pay a King's ransom for.

Thank you all and may your own adventures be frought with excitement and reward!

Thanks for the translation. Easier to understand the OP's question.

Druid + warrior combo? Not that bad. A resto druid can heal a warrior in PVP very well, so long as the warrior is geared and specced for PVP (e.g. Arms) and comes to aid you the moment the allies target the druid first (that's you). Druids of the feral or resto variety are both equally useful when teamed with a warrior.

As for Westfall...Honestly, any place of that level range tends to be good spots to gank. I would honestly recommend a zone closer to friendly territory or main city so you can always go back to resupply without having to pay extra silvers for flight paths.

As for equipments, you can go to instance runs. Search the databases (there's one in this website, and another in Wowhead) on what you can obtain cheaply (instance run gear tends to be for free, and the only thing to worry about is if it will drop, and do you have people competing the roll for it). I'm not experienced in either warrior or druid gameplay (since I had always played a rogue), so I leave it to others who are more well versed with those classes to tell you what stats you should look out for in your gear.

I second that emotion. :D

If the characters in this game all walked around talking like that, I'd never play it again.

I know there is quite a diverse age range playing WoW; but as an adult in my upper 20s, when I see posts like this I don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for the person.

I cannot imagine that these people talk this way in real life. I have never heard anyone in a grocery store asking the clerk, "ZOMG...I'm sucha n00b...wherez the breadzorz???!!!111"

So what leads them to do this in the game I wonder?

I'll have my kid brother try this one out.

You make a good point. I have seen people who speak in Ebonics type their sentences the way they say them, but I'm sure this isn't such a case.

that's nothing... i've absorbed my (now former) boss's penchant for sliding in surfer speak...

i need a shock collar now for when I refer to someone as "dude"

so not cool...

I call everyone dude. I didn't until recently, but it's just kind of stuck. It seems everyone I know in their 20s says it, and it's just with me.

And people say "Oh My God" all the time. Tell me she says THAT rather than blurting out the letters "O.M.G." That would just be insane.

But who, outside of the internet, really says "lolz," "n00b," "plz," etc. Another I've seen online is "thankies." I've never heard anyone really say that, and if I did I'd laugh. People do say "preggers" though, and that one really ticks me off. No one takes pregnancy seriously anymore, and that's part of the reason why teenage girls see no problem with getting pregnant these days.

But anywayz... I hope dis d00d got h1z quezt10nz answ3r3d.

I believe it relates to texting...kids texting each other. It has morphed into its own form of shorthand. Much like young twins who develop their own language.

I have a friend that I grew up with, went to high school with. Shared an apartment with then started working together. we carpooled every day 1.5 hours and worked in a 10x20 room pretty much all day together for 6-7 years.

Once I was at a craps table in the casino, he came by and made two hand gestures I gave him the car keys and made 3 hand gestures to him. The dealer at the table asked me what that was all about and I told him that he told me he was going to go downtown and look around, to call him when I was ready to eat shortly. I replied with as soon as I make some cash here I'le be ready in about an hour.

We didn't normally communicate non-verbally but with so much time together a look or a glance and a wave or point had a lot of meaning.

Kids today w/texting same thing.

What does the Z in ZOMG stand for anyway?

"Thankies" is cute, though. I wouldn't mind anyone saying that to me. Heck, I like it better than "thx", although I don't have a problem with that either. It's things like "plz" (or its worse nephew "plzzzzz") which drive me up the wall.

yah, me and my friends call eachother "n00b" and say "o.m.g" and our new thing is zoh-my-god, I like to say coolies, but it gets old real fast, yah, thanks 4 the help, and the grammer correction.

ZOMG
A more enthusiastic (if not sarcastic) way of saying OMG. The Z doesn't stand for anything, but rather is added onto the O, thus making it pronounced "ZOH MY GOD!!1"

As for using in-game abbreversions IRL? I've actually known a few to start saying "lol" out in the real world...
That's when you know you play too much computer. I mean, dreaming about a computergame is one thing, but saying "lol" when you're clearly not laughing out loud?

You sure about that?
You say "n00b"? [nnullnullb] or [nzerozerob]?
If you say it out loud, all you're saying is a poorly pronounced "newb", short for "newbie", an almost-English word.

Hey, I tried helping to get your question answered. I put it into terms that people can understand. Plus I'm pretty sure someone did answer it after I translated it. So you can't say we didn't try.

Make sure you're going to a server with decent world PvP before you assume all PvP servers are fraught with fun and hilarity.

The extent that I see of world pvp is usually horde(s) 30-40 with carebear(s) raid southshore. They kill the lowbies once or twice who then leave and goesand play other places with other toons. Hardly ever do high level ally's show up, and if they do, unless the raiders have number advantage they leave quickly. If no one shows up (usually) the raiders kill every npc, get bored and leave.

I've really only seen a few decent world pvp situations develop, and they usually don't last long. Outlands, Halaa and other world type pvp seems more consistent, but still sporadic. I hope you can find a richer experience on another server...sever = Hakkar btw (the unofficial latino ally server or something like that).
