yeah i know, i tried to take one. they came out blank for some reason (either a property of the video format or perphaps some odd computer issue *shrug*

but anyways i've managed to find most parts of the UI myself. The main part i need to find still is the one that puts the health and energy bars around your character (they are curved and placed vertically on either side)

Well I didn't bother to look at the video myself, but the missing mod you are looking for is a HUD. Popular ones include ArcHud and MetaHud, but if neither of these are what you are looking for simply type in HUD in the search box and you're bound to find what you're looking for.

I use Metahud myself, one of the few non Aced mods I use.
But Archud2 and IceHud are both Aced and nice mods.
Don't believe Archud is Aced tho, maybe wrong.

ArcHud2 is Ace. I am using Icehud right now. I do not like Archud because I can move the information (numbers and such). Icehud can not either, but I like how it handles them.

Iceshard, how is Metahud doing on memory usage? I have not used MetaHUD let alone DHUD in a few months (last summer perhaps?) and the memory wasnt obscene, but I am using almost all Ace stuff now and like to keep my memory low.

I have Archud2, Icehud and Metahud and have at one time or the other used all three.
Memory wise I really see no significant difference in Archud2 and MetaHud, in my setup anyway.
I am 90% Aced, (love Ace2 mods), but I use metahud because I feel it is more configurable and I really hate the fact that Archud2 bars come to a sharp point like they do, I do not feel I can judge health remaining close enough.

And I haven't loaded IceHud lately because the last time I used it, (ooc I have all bars hidden and play a lock) I was swimming and my breath bar was not visible, thought I had unending breath cast, needless to say, I drowned.
It took me awhile to figure out what the crap happened, so back came Metahud...:thumbsup:

So.. ArcHud and Icehud have very little difference in memory usage. Using your information, we can easily infer that MetaHud should be about the same in memory.

And thanks on your reasoning on ArcHud2, you hate it for the same reason as me. I could never figure out a way of explaining why I disliked ArcHud.

I agree wholeheartedly that MetaHud is much more configurable then its Ace cousins. I will be making the switch back. Thanks.
