I want to get the Talbuk mount, but I'm not sure exactly how to do it.

I know that I need research tokens and pvp marks. I know how to get the research tokens.

But how exactly do you get the PVP marks? Do they just appear in your bags if you kill someone in Nagrand?

I tried hanging out around Halaa, and I got some PVP kills. But no marks appeared in my bags. Do I need to loot them off the bodies or something?

It works like tapping a creature you have to tap them first and deal more damage than other outside sources.As far as where you need to be to get the marks you have to Be within Halaa or the outside perimiter of the city along the edge of the cliff and by the Wind rider things But you cannot be below the city to get the marks

Stay close to Halaa to get them, but start up or get into a pvp raid. You will rack up tokens much faster that way than going solo. Working as a team is way better and more efficient, most smart people will let you join or will join you. There is really no benefit of being solo.

As the other poster had mentioned you get the Halaa Battle Tokens from PvP kills done in the immediate vicinity of Halaa.

You acquire tokens very much like you would in Hellsfire Penninsula world PvP, by killing blows. Doesn't matter if you have done 99% of the damage or only 1% of the damage on an opponent. If you or someone in your party close to you got the killing blow, you will be awarded with a Halaa Battle Token.
