View Full Version : Big Skinner Problem :(

I was playing around with my UI and right-clicked on the Skinner icon on my minimap. I unchecked "Enable", and suddenly the icon disappeared!

I logged out, unchecked and then checked Skinner in the mods section, thinking this would enable it and I'd have it back.

But noooo, it completely disappeared when I logged back in.

Please help! I've tried everything I can think of--deleting Skinner, adding a new Skinner to the mods, resetting the profile, but no matter what I do, Skinner just keeps pretending it's not there, even though it's enabled in the mods list.

Also, whenever I type "/Skinner standby" an error comes out.

Someone recommended I go to the Saved Variables folder stored in my character's folder in the WTF folder, and delete the Skinner files there to reset it. However, I couldn't find any Skinner files in there at all. There were files for other mods, but none for Skinner.

I'm fresh out of ideas. :( Anyone?

The files you are looking for are in your WTF folder,
worldofwarcaft\wtf\accountname\servername\savedvariables\skinner.lua
or
worldofwarcaft\wtf\accountname\servername\charactername\savedvariables\skinner.lua

I would also recommend getting fubar and niagara, with niagara you can configure Aced addons really easy, and alot of them will have a fubar icon as well.

Duececommander works to.

I finally found the files under WTF/Account name/Realm/SavedVariables! Yay! Thanks for the advice and I'll certainly look into the Fubar and Niagara addons. :)
