ive seen the alliance take the crossroads and then level 70 locks, mages and hunters appear and kick them out many times before but this is the first time ive seen this happen. i was just passing through the crossroads last night when six alliance came running in from the road from ratchet. they were all 60-70 except for one who was 34. well the people at the crossroads reacted like they normally do at first, the new players either attacked them and died or hid in a building. the more experienced (but still low lvl) chars just ignored them. we sent some people to orgrimmar, desolace and other places looking for some people to kick the alliance out but everyone just laughed at the messengers and said that since there were 6 it would be a waste of thier time. so me and my group (the highest people in the crossroads) started to try and rally all the lower levels, which we did. we got almost everyone to start attacking the alliance and by the end we had actually killed three of them and gotten two to run. while this was good and all we didnt do this without MAJOR casualties on our side. our average life time was around 3-4 seconds if we were lucky. by the time we were fighting off the last of the alliance two groups of level 70's came in and destroyed the rogue, they then departed as fast as they came. i managed to get a few of thier names and thanked them for finally coming to our aid. but about an hour later i ran into one of the level 70's bragging about how he and 2 friends "saved" the crossroads by themselves. that irritated me beyond all belief.
