i would like to roll on pvp server

My main is on Hydraxis, a PvE server, he is going to ding 56 tonight, and I can smell 70. When I hit 70 its time to start getting serious about alts (when i'm not raiding - certainly plan on having tons of 70 fun). I've heard that rppvp servers are better than regular pvp servers because there is a bit more maturity, probably a bit less ganking and grave camping. Is this true? Is there a definitive pvp server? Either rp or not. I don't want to roll on a server that is 10-1 alliance to horde respectively, nor do I want to roll a toon on a server that is low population. Any advice here would be appreciated. (for what its worth I think I'll be rolling an orc hunter, as I've heard good things about hunters in pvp and the orc's pet damage increase is too much to ignore.)

Can you switch from pve to pvp at 70? If so, I'm definetly switching to pve immediately to level up...

EDIT : Never mind, I see that you aren't talking about switching your main, but rolling a new toon.

no you can't.

PvP Servers can move to PvE servers, but not vice versa.

They did it exactly for the reason you mentioned.

About servers... You can check the server ratio's at www.WoWCensus.com

I usually use that for my idea's on how the server is running.

I prefer big servers, because I like to say "LFG XXXX" and get 50 replies.

But that is just me, some people like small servers, or even servers where they are outnumbered.

as for RPpvp, that would be my assumption also. But I'm sure there are retards, fools and idiots there too that just want to pick on people - since it is part of the game.... DEAL WITH IT! =)
