Recently, there was some server wide drama, as the actions of one individual were found out and spread throughout the small, close-knit community. The hilarity ensued. Must read both threads for full effect.

It's kind of funny in a sad, pathetic way. I do feel bad for the lady whose husband and friends are in Iraq, fighting and dying for us, while the offender was sharding her purples.

Active remembered about this password and he gave it to Ibang, instructing him to delete all of her characters.. That day the owner of the account was in distress already, she has a husband in Iraq, and many friends there. She gets news that one of her friends was shot.. she comes on vent very, very, unhappy. We managed to calm her down (which was a pretty hard thing to do) and we decided, "hey, you know what, we all have time. Lets run you through mara and get you some good gear" So we get ready to go to mara, and on ventrilo she says "guys, is there anybody on my account right now?" the answer was yes. It was Ibang, i knew this, and so did all of the rest of our guild members.. i can tell you i was hysterical, i was telling obscenities to the hacker, telling him to get off..

I stopped there. The password to the account was given to someone, who was told to get rid of it, but didn't. That person then gave the password to the Ibang guy, who logged in.

The person, while an ass, is NOT a hacker. He had the password, and did nothing illegal to get the password. I can't see how this is hacking, and stopped reading.

Besides, the person should've changed their password as soon as the "Active" person had it. If my password slipped, and the person said they'd forget it, I'd still change it. Morons breed morons.

um...this isn't a thread about hacking? haha. If you'd continue listening/reading, many people make that same point. While the girls loss was sad, It's tangential to what I was trying to accomplish by posting this. It's funny. The 2 threads are funny. Try not to read them, looking for an agenda about hacking or otherwise...just enjoy them for what they are. Some dude acting like his own girlfriend to call off the dogs, haha.

"He somehow obtained a members password..." This doesn't state that the password was willingly given. And even if it was, it's still hacking. This person had no authority to the account and was never given any. It's a hack all the way.

Not what the thread is about though. This guy seems like a real asshole.
