Hi,
I've just recently reached level 60 for the first time, with my Blood Elf Rogue. This is quite a feat for me as I have a very short attention span and fairly limited play-time compared to some of the hardcore players out there.
I absolutely love PvP. In fact, it's pretty much the only reason I play the game. In the past I've tried creating a few twinks at 19 and found them a bit boring after awhile. Getting the kit together within the xp boundaries, etc was great fun but the actual combat at the end of it was a bit dull. Then I tried a 29 Hunter twink and that was bags of fun due to the greater range of abilities and the option to go to Arathi Basin. Since then, I've made a 60 Rogue, 56 Warrior and another 52 Hunter and I'd love to PvP with them instead of grinding away at levels.
So I guess my question is: What are my options? I was really hoping to play WSG, AB and AV with my Rogue in the level 60 category and work towards the PvP armour rewards. However, on entering my first level 60 WSG I found a whole load of 63s, 64s, and 69s running around in phat Outland kit!
What on earth in the point of struggling in AV for the armour rewards when AV is about the only place it has any value (everyone keeps telling me about how l33t Outland kit is, even greens).
Needless to say, it looks as though I'll have to get my Rogue up to 70 to have a good time in BGs and keep my Warrior and Hunter at 59 to enable them to do WSG, AB and AV all in the sub-60 range. Is this the right thing to do?
Any suggestions (including alternative MMORPGs) are welcome, but please bear in mind the following:
- I hate questing after about level 20.
- I really don't have the time or buddies to do any good instances more frequently than about once a month.
- I don't have bags of time in general, so killing increasingly bigger versions of the same monster doesn't exactly excite me.
- I have TBC.
If you're reading this and thinking "Why doesn't this guy just sod-off and play [insert name of game here] instead of moaning about WoW?" please let me know what game I should/could be playing.
Cheers,
Starfire
