I did it just with vegas and lot's of layers... If you talk about the scene with the sleepy gnome in the middle and the "Shiva" around, it took me 3x3 hours rendering for 15 seconds of movie.

beautiful editing on this one... the nekid gnomes are a bit disturbing though.

Thoses gnomes were mature and payed to run naked, and even if it seems to be a cold night shooting, it was all made in a warm studio with free cookies and coffee. (i did not realize that my naked gnomes could look like kids... I get this a lot and will not do it again)
