What do you think is the least played race/sex?

I think female dwarf or female tauren - I think female tauren would win as least played. Thoughts?

Definitely female dwarves on my realm. For some reason female Gnomes are more acceptable (with their cutsie bunchy piggytails tee hee = Grrrrr).

female trolls > any other female race on horde side pre-tbc so you see a lot.

female orcs are downright ugly as are tauren and dwarven.

I see a lot of female taurens.. don't see that many female undead.. at least on my server.

I can't remember how long ago was the last time I was jumped by a female dwarf rogue though..

Maybe the F.Tauren thing is just on my server. I see a lot of f.Undead and f.Trolls. F.Orcs would be another one that I don't see much.

My GF plays a Female Dwarf Rogue. She has gotten a few comments in-game about what a rare that combination that seems to be. What can I say, she likes to be different.

I don't think I have ever seen a female Tauren, Orc, or Dwarf (with one exception) that was not an NPC.

@Aerath - I'm a he. :)
I've played a female orc (cleavage anyone?) warlock. I was sadly disappointed. I've also played a female undead priest. My troll shadow priest is male. :P I see gads and gads of female gnomes, and a few female dwarf bank toons. But not very many female dwarves above level 10.

Edit:
On Khaz Modan server, there is a banking guild on the Horde side. Most of the members I've seen are female taurens in tuxedos... :ponder:

Well I think I have the most heavily played female toon, the night elf, :elfkiss: but on my server, the least played toon would have to be female orcs. They are pretty unattractive. That pony tail with the rest of the head being bald is reminiscent of pharaoh  not very appealing to me as a female player. I also think if I see one more Blood Elf I'm going to VOMIT..there are way too many. I'm all for a cap on blood elves created

I play a female dwarf hunter. But, female dwarves *are* rare, from what I've seen -- possibly the most rare female alliance race. As for the horde... I don't see many female orcs. I see more female trolls than male trolls on my server. I would probably place male trolls and female dwarves as the two least common race/gender combos I've seen.

Once I ran into a female dwarf priest. I had never seen that kind of thing before.

But overall I guess female troll wins

My only female character is my Troll Priest(ess)... I don't many other lady trolls, although I have seen probably less female Orcs (and I think half the ones I have seen were hunter-bots).

My g/f's characters are a female Undead and female Tauren. I think she thinks the undead females are pretty, and she just ignores me when I say her hunter has nice udders.

I guess it probably changes server to server. I see tons of female orcs, trolls, and taurens on my realm. Female trolls are really popular.

But I've never, ever seen a female dwarf.

There's quite a few female Tauren and orcs on my server, but I play RPPVP so maybe people make them more.

As for alliance, I agree it's female dwarf. But, the real rarity is a female dwarf that is not a priest or a rogue! I think I've only ever seen one female dwarf warrior and I've never seen a paladin.

According to a census site, trolls and orcs are the two least played races, with dwarf in third. The numbers are estimates, but probably pretty good ones. The top 5, in order from least popular to most popular, are:

1. Troll warrior
2. Dwarf rogue
3. Orc rogue
4. Troll priest
5. Orc warlock

I was really surprised by #5, considering that the orc's racials make for a damn fine warlock. My main is a female orc warlock, and I think I have only seen two or three others. I guess it doesn't really surprise me, once I started thinking about it, since orcs are not the prettiest race in the game.

Blood Elves, and to some extent, sharing Shattrath in Outland, has put a big dent in the rivalry between Alliance and Horde. Horde used to be "the little guy" and now there are hundreds of thousands of Blood Elves being added to the Horde side every month. They're messing up the dynamic IMO.

I play a female orc warrior :D

i'm male but i just love the braided tail they have in their hair and the 2 ponytails they can have

thats the reason why i started draenai female insted of male, i loved the tentacle faces of the big males but i loved the 2 ponytails much much more :D

anyways i think the least popular combo is:

horde
troll female warrior

alliance:
female dwarf rogue

horde
troll female warrior

alliance:
female dwarf rogue

That sounds about right for my server...but guess what...a female Troll MTs in our raidgroup. Come to think of it..MALE Troll warriors, I hardly see.....

I have a female tauren druid, female troll shammy, and female dwarf pally.
I like being different.
With my dwarf pally, before we could view items on us before equipping, I put on a pair of trousers that ended up being sort of like chaps; cellulite city: scary....

My Female Orc Hunter started as a joke that I kept going. A friend hi-jacked my pc when I left the room and created the ugliest orc he could, 100% bald with a nose ring...and her name? Orcnasty.
I thought it was funny and started playing her, though I never show the helm I like running around all bald and scary looking.

I see very few female dwarfs, orcs, and taurans.

I hope the OP doesn't mind me hijacking this thread a little. But the question asked sparked a somewhat related question in my mind. What gender do you mostly pick for your chosen race when you roll a new toon?

For me, its:

Humans, NEs, Gnomes, Undead, and BEs - Neutral. I'll pick either gender in these races depending on my mood or purpose.

Dwarves, Orcs, Taurans, and Trolls - Male. Because, yes, the females are rather unattractive. And its somewhat less shocking for me to see an unattractive male.

Draenei - Female. The inverse is true here. There's something about the male's squid face that's kinda disturbing. But I find the females of this race incredibly attractive.

That being said, whenever I roll a new toon that I'm gender neutral too, it more often than not ends up being female. But what can I say? I'm a straight male. If I have to stare at a toon's butt the entire time I'm playing, I'd rather it be a female butt.

And as a night elf I don't want any other elf stealing the attention  but in all seriousness, they are EVERYWHERE! I prefer the old races to the new ones. My favorite horde has got to be Tauren.
