Not sure which to go with here, gun or bow... Which is the best?

Doesn't really matter. I usually level up both skills. If I find a nice bow, I use that, if I find a nice gun... well, you get the point.

I always prefer the whoosh whoosh of the arrows as compared to the BANG BANG of the guns.

i guess then you can get a double shot gun, as with the bows i see hunters use?

Yea, im lost.

I use a bow, but will probably use a gun at some point. A few good xbows are out there too- but any of them will work.

Same here - IMO the Bang Bang seems to be out of place in a game like WoW

They roughly all have same stats with some being better than others. But at 3am the constant bang bang will have you turning your sound down and the tv / radio up - instead of being able to enjoy the ambience of the zone you're in.

Get Gun, Bow, and Crossbow. Those are all interchangeable, and if you are a hunter, they are invaluable skills.

I quite like the idea of the guns in WoW. They fit into the story line well, and I prefer to make my own ammo.

Go for the shuriken... don't have to worry about losing a slot to carry an ammo bag if you're using thrown weapons.

Oh, unless you're a hunter- in which case guns, bows, and crossbows are all equal.

On another note, in general, guns are a bit slower but hit harder, while bows shoot faster, but for not as much.

The DPS usually works out to be the same for same level ranged weapons, but along with sounds and looks, it comes down to higher crits or faster hits.

Just look at whichever is best for you statwise.

Unless yer weird like me and have your Dwarf Hunter only use Guns because he won't touch them nancy bows the Elves use.

And I have a Rogue who solely uses Crossbows... though thankfully I didn't rule out throwing weapons as currently I can't use Deadly Throw.

My Dwarf Hunter is all guns too. Can't imagine him plinking at a silly bow.

You are better with a bow as bows make less noise than guns and so you will not generate as much threat using a bow ;)

As an Elf I prefer a Bow - it's kinda more fitting. But I tbh just go for the best dps. If u are a MM u prob want big crits - as a BM u want lower crits and more steady damage. It's still a question about play style. Some play hardcore leveling and some like to actually look at what they aer playing and maybe even use the Lore of the game.
