mod downloads

Hi,can some one explain wot to do when downloading mods,once ive saved em to my desktop were should i extract them to? is it straight into the WOW folder,all its doin is ext to my desktop and thats it!

In The WoW folder there is another called Interface. Within that one there is a folder called addons, the addons go in there :). Make sure when you have extraxted an addon, that it is not in a folder within a folder, as this is often the case when there are multiple versions. Just copy/paste the folder with the addon in it to the WoW addon folder.

When you have done so, and start up the game, from the characterscreen there is a tab called addons. If you click on that you can see if the game has recognised the addon, and enable or disable it.
