I have made both now and have really enjoyed both of them. I want to know what would be better for fun, PVP and so on.

Thanks.

I tryed them both too, they are great. I think a hunter is better to solo (grinding) and a rogue is needed in groups. A hunter is not especially needed in groups, but mostly he takes random places. I cant help you more, because im a noob too ;)

i got lvl 32 hunter and lvl 19 twink (which was twink, not anymore)
I am telling u the truth
In low levels hunters are awesoem what u do send pet and arrow them to death. Plus my pet boar was able to take on 3-4 monster at the lower lvls.
PVP-In lower lvls for me it su sucked but now i am able to enter WSG 30-39 and it rocks but to level him up i juct cant. It does get boring afterwhile.

Rogue-With my rogue i kick lvl 22 asses especially mages (who doesnt) and yesterday lvl 22 hunter.
in leveling up i find it bit boring as they tend to miss lots of attack and only skills hit hard for me so.

Thats my two cents. Really up to u.

Good question.

This is the reason why having a 70 hunter and 70 rogue is my most prized possession. =)

It's hard to choose between the two because I like them both.

It really depends what you like to do. unfortunately I like both aspects of the rogue and hunter, so It's hard for me to pick and choose.

Which do you prefer:
A) Sneaking around, waiting for the ideal opportunity, sometimes for several minutes. Then see your chance, take it, and not just kill your target, but also dance on his grave for a few seconds before restealthing and escaping his friends.
or
B) Running around like a headless chicken firing round after round of metallic death into whoever is silly enough to chase you - or even worse, run from you - while your pet is eating up the guy who's supposed to be healing your target.

Both classes are highly intimidating enemies, both classes can decrease the chance of an enemy spotting them (in the hunter's case: Shadowmeld or Feign Death while pet enters prowl), and both classes will get owned badly if a warlock attacks them around lvl 40.

Oh and the results of the quiz.. A=Rogue, B=Hunter.

What you consider fun is what you consider fun, not what someone else considers fun. You still following? Good. Because we ain't no mind readers, we can't tell you what you like better.

The better one is the one that you get the most enjoyment out of playing. Since Blizz tries its hardest to keep any class from being more powerful than any other class, it all comes down to what you like.

If you kick a** in PvP, but hate playing in PvE, is it a good class or not?

Some ppl got it easy.. I love being able to stealth but I prefere using bows AND I'm a cat-person (at least IG).. so now I got a lvl 63 rogue and a lvl 59 NE hunter with King Bangalash.. not to mention that I got a natural ability to attract aggro (especially from other players) so I got a lvl 70 warrior..

I play this game too much..

meh!...I'm a cat person too..Me Delilah in WoW was rezzed from 1st edition D&d (Fighter/thief/bard) & got transferred in subsequent ed's to priestess of Sharess

I admit she was half elf origionally though...Kinda liked the idea of someone becomming a priestess of pleasure who was essentially barren but ultimately inspired fruitfullness in others...as you can probably guess RP was lots of fun in a predominantly all male group, she was shexy as hell, but none of the other RP chars got a look in..haha

But this time I'm liking the bow as my secondary weapon, since if atm sentient mobs do get the opportunity to leg it & pull in others, I can slap them in the back before they get that far..

Oh and while i'm at it, I reckon rogues should be the ONLY class that CAN cross faction, after all they are like it or not, ONLY in it for the coin , usually..Dont see any point in being a backstabbing thief unless you are or are given the chance to be TRUELLY neutral..

Sorry about double posting, but it was out of limit and it just crossed my hard noggin :wink2:

As stated above, it's all a matter of taste.

Personally, I like rogues, warlocks and paladins and I really dislike hunters. I have one that I keep for herb/alch but I don't find them much fun.
Other people may think the opposite, of course ...

Well in the 39 arenas my warlock is a sitting duck for hunters: they have more range, incredible firepower against my cloth, their pet keeps interrupting all but my instant casts, what can I do about it? Even though I have decent stamina, they eat through it like nothing.

What rogues are concerned it's another story, just depending on who starts the fight.

First pop ur AB trinket. Fear the cat. Start attacking the hunter.
Then pop ur Arena Master trinket (if you got 1, they're a bit more tricky). You might want to refresh fear before continuing your attacks, but not if u need to run after the cat.
Then sacrifice your Voidwalker. Don't borther fearing, as your dots should've killed him a while ago by now.

Constantly shielded = No spell interruption = You don't have to rely on instants. You shouldn't even need to fear the cat, but against a BM hunter this'll make your shields last MUCH longer.
