Overall.. to have the best experience in pvp in all its aspects..

be it world, BG, arena, and ganking..

what class would be the best served?

Before you get a bunch of responses, let me sum up what they all will say:

"Warlocks are best for PVP"

"No they aren't, Shadowpriests melt faces"

"Actually warriors are always at the top in BG's and Arenas and rankings"

"No particular class is best, what matters is the person controlling it"

And my answer:

All things being equal, Warlocks currently have the tiniest edge, but for the most part it's pretty balanced these days.

yeah, I know that in the hands of a skilled player all classes have the potential to be great at all forms of pvp..

but like you have just confirmed.. warlock seems to be the classes that has the most edge with no skill ability in play.

if you were to say ganking.. I would say rogue.

I'm looking for a new alt.. and my current toon is a druid, and I kinda want something completely different..

I have a hunter to 34.. but kinda tired of looking at night elfs.

you should read the paladin forums, apparently they think paladins are #1 in DPS!!

If you would consider rolling Horde, warlock is an even better (slightly) choice since you'll never be up against Will of the Forsaken.

If you want to stay Alliance I might consider a Mage if I wanted something very different from a Druid.

Mage's can do way more burst damage than your druid, and they will never be asked to heal. They'll never be asked to tank either.

the best will be a BM hunter or a AP PoM Mage
all the pvp strategy in that 2 builds is pressing 1 button

Somehow I don't think "to have the best experience in pvp in all its aspects.." involves pressing 1 button.

Warlocks hands down, after patch rogues will be close depending on how bad the fear nerf is.

Where's KCMA?

I'm starting to understand why he uses such short, frustrating answers...payback. Seriously...do a forum search. There are at least 5 threads talking about each classes PvP viability in comparison to another...all in the past few months.

Whichever one you play the best. Pick one learn it well and learn the weaknesses of the others.

Simple answer but true. Regardless of what you play you will pwn and be pwned depending on the situation. Winning at PvP is more about skill and gear time than the class you choose.

I get sick of people saying arcane mages are easy due to ap pom. Now if you were dueling one on one, sure it is an easy win. But in battlegrounds, you cant depend on it. Sure you may get to 2 shot one player, but the other 3 with him will cut you down as soon as you are done. (if that was truely the only ability you used in pvp.) Myself, i like arcane because i can get the highest added spell damage to all my spells. The ap pom pyro combo are actually saved for more of a defensive roll. ie rogues that jump me out of stealth, hunters that are trying to kite me, wsg flag runners esp druids (which i think are over powered as runners, i wish the would make it so you dropped flag in any form other then the main... druid and shaman doggy)

but then in that example you are alone against 4 horde, so of course you were going to get cut down

as for the best all round pvp, its still warlocks, not saying they are overpowered, but they have nice damage output CC skills and the ability to kill you even after they die(DOTs from hell)

but really if you can play the class doesnt matter what you go for

If you really want an all around pvp experience, learn how to play a feral druid with engineering. Many will disagree, but that's where I stand.

paladin...
they are hands down the best healer in any pvp situation... (bg, world, or arena) and they are very hard to gank - yes i've been ganked by a few well played rogues, but for a most part i will survive (even while fighting a mob).

pvp is not all about damage, and yes, i can heal you to death

just so everyone knows, i am joking...

I doubt many will seriously argue that paladins are the best pvp healers, but that hardly makes them the best at pvp... I like the roundedness of druids, however currently warlocks seem to present lots of problems to most classes.

Pick whatever class you suck the least at.
