Im gonna do a wow comeback on a pvp realm (instead of my old pve).
Had mage & rogue at lvl 60+ and 70. enjoyed both in both pve and pvp.

Now im gonna roll a lock or warrior on pvp realm, currently semi leveling both of them on a trial acc. Which do you think is more fun in pvp both bg & world pvp. And why?

I doubt you'll find many people who've played both extensively enough to answer so i'll throw out a few thoughts...

First which do you prefer more? You're leveling both on a trial - you've had 2 high level characters in the past so would you end up getting both anyway?

What's your plan for high end gear? pvp (bgs -> arenas) for your main gear? or pve (5mans -> heroics -> raids)?

I personally see warriors having a little more ease getting groups for pve and arena teams because warriors can tank or dps for pve and MS is very usefull in arenas.
Locks are great in both pve and pvp, but rely a lot less on support in pvp.

as far as world pvp... what's that?? - lock would probably have some advantages with range and having a pet to assist with possible mob adds.

Yeah, I agree. Also keep in mind that if you are going to be running alone most of the time the warlock might be a better choice. Well geared warriors are good alone, but really shine with a dedicated healer and team.

thanks for the answers..
Actually i decided to keep level up both of them me and my brother are both starting out fresh on a pvp realm and we're both gonna have a solo character and one character each to play when we are together.

So, im leveling my warlock when im alone and my warrior when im with him.
He's leveling a mage when he's solo and a priest when when im on my warriror which is a pretty solid combo :)

good plan, and having your bro to team with is fun!

just a suggestion... Priests are great healers and all, but my bro did a Pally/Warrior combo and i must say its probably one of the best 2 person combos in the game (ok maybe, maybe not, but they are a very strong combo). IMO pallies compliment warriors a little better, but honestly a warrior priest combo is not bad by any means... have fun either way =)

Actually he made a pally which is in our level now too, im gonna see if i can get him to play on that one instead with my warrior, atleast try it.

Warriors are the kings of group PvP.

Warlocks are great solo.

So, after rerolling races and stuff i now got a 16 warlock and a 16 warrior.
Doin as i said, playing the warrior with my brother's priest.

Enjoying both of them. And even with my crap gear, only have a couple of greens, rest is both white and gray :lipsrsealed: with my brother healing me i could bash thru both one and two twinks in wsg :)

Warriors are a lot of fun in pvp. A lot!!!

If pvping with warlock is was eating spaghetti, warrior would be ribeye steak.

Warrior = badass
Warlock = emo

would you rather be an emo or a badass?

I have played all four classes (Warrior, Rogue, Mage, and Warlock) and consider them all my favorites and I think I can get you an answer, but first answer me this... which of your high-end toons do you like the most?

If you enjoyed the melee of the Rogue then Warrior is the way to go (albeit you'll be doing a lot of tanking outside of solo play and PVP); if the Mage was your favorite then the Warlock is the toon for you. Both share a lot of caster similarities but the Warlock has added utilities (like Soulstones) and autonomy with their minions (i.e. the Voidwalker tanks for you, Imp adds DPS and group buffs, etc).

Warlock = emo

[sniff] I'm so hurt right now. Do you see these tears streaming down my face? The whole world hates me because I'm a Warlock. I think I'll go listen to some Marilyn Manson and write some bad poetry. [sniff sniff]

"Warriors are the kings of group PvP."

Not on my server ..... The Alliance players don't heal warriors often enough, and the Horde keys on em. My lvl 49 warrior attracts a minimum of 3 Horde and I'm often down in 10 secs. .. .which gives me enough time to stun the attackers, tgive them a demoralizing shout, then give my raid group a final battle shout. Then it's back to the graveyard.

In PvP I have much better success, fewer deaths and much more fun with my lvl 36 Rogue.
